Surely this is the sexiest fragrance ever created? I get everything from Eastern spices to Parma violets, from musk to pepper, and the base note is absolutely divine. Is it incense? Whatever it is, it's bewitching. I first smelt this on a colleague I used to work with. She was one of those women who lots of men in the office used to follow around with their tongues out. She was a fairly plain looking person, and she didn't say much, and I wonder if it was this perfume that used to cast its spell on them! That said, the only man i want to impress is my gorgeous husband, and he loves this perfume, too. I can never be without this now. Love, love, love it.

i love this scent, i get the bitter notes people have discussed, and i just adore that. Not many florals come through, but the warmth and muskiness through the sharpness are addictive for me.

Yet to look at the bottle, light girly pink, you'd assume, wrongly, that it's a flowery, fruity maybe even gourmand scent, suitable for young girls, and i expected that kind of aroma, and boy, i was so wrong. My mother gave me this, she disliked it, and i know she hates fruity/florals, so thats also influenced my assumption. However its very darkly seductive, and lasts for ever. I put this on at lunchtime today, and am still getting wafts at 1.08 am, thats about 12 hours, of this delicious fragrance.

Frankly, i'm glad it morphs pretty quickly into the heart and base notes, as i'm not fond of the topnotes, and i know i say this about every scent i wear. THIS could become my signature scent. I feel it epitomizes me. Sharp and sexy, confident and bold, a little quirky, yet with a warm heart, and excellent staying power. Yep thats me alright :)

This is a fascinating fragrance that caught me very much off guard. When I took the first sniff I was like "what?" "really?". It has very odd, almost bitter top notes, and not what I was expecting. I guess after so many fruity florals, it surprised me that there was no sweet fruitiness in AP. Although, they smell different, AP could be a kindred spirit to Fracas, they are both huge heady white florals playing by their own rules. They both ask something of the wearer, IMO. But I love them both dearly.
In a few short minutes, Agent Provocateur starts to expand a bit and start melting your heart right away. A big rose, with some saffron, as well as a bouquet of white flowers, over a slightly sweet base. The dry down is a well balanced rosy warm one. Charmingly formal and could be a wedding scent for the right person. This is a highly stylized heavy weight so try before buying...

Agent Provocateur is such a distinctive, unique and daring fragrance.

When I first sprayed it, I was almost blown over backwards with the strong florals mixed with the spices. It was a little too heady and 'in-your-face' for my liking. However, minutes later I sniffed my wrist once again and realised that this fragrance was growing on me.

Slightly powdery, yet strangely sexy, Agent Provocateur is one perfume that changes with every sniff. One minute it's musky, next minute it's sour, the next it's sweet.

I agree with the majority that says that this fragrance is sexy, because it most definitely is sexy. However, in my opinion, Agent Provocateur is not your typical brothel scent, it is much classier, more suited to the woman that is in control and enjoys her own feminine sexuality.

Because this fragrance is primarily rose, jasmine and spices, this fragrance is for women and not little girls. The pink bottle with the black ribbon, although well suited to the fragrance, may attract younger consumers and discourage the more mature woman from trying Agent Provocateur.

I would wear this as an evening scent, since it exudes such elegance and sensuality. Although, like the overall promotion of the fragrance suggests, this can also be worn as an intimate night fragrance with that special someone.

Dry as a bone. AP is a fragrance that is all woman with out any frou frou sweetness. Its a modern take on something old, and I love that. On my chemistry, its mostly a musky, woodsy fragrance with the vetiver making it a tad sharp. I dont get too much florals in this, they mostly remain in the backround. I get faint hints of rose and magnolia. I wish I got more floral from this.

Some have mentioned the overwheming potentcy of this fume. On me its melts into my skin and becomes one with my chemistry. Its not perfumey on me, not offensive, and not too much. I can wear this perfume pretty much anywhere and feel at ease.

AP is a perfume thats smells of womanly confidence. Its sexy in a way that exudes a womans wisdom and feminine power. Not girly, Not romantic, but strong and wise.

There's clearly something wrong in this - as far as my body chemistry goes. I absolutely wanted to like this, for I am a fan of big florals. Somehow, Agent Provocateur simply doesn't work with me. Is offensive to my nose and I get an animalic tone I really dislike. Very sad, because in the bottle - and I believe in someone else - smells great.
