  |  I was so excited when I received my newly reissued bottle of Violette in the mail, I have very fond memories of violets from childhood...unfortunately, the perfume evoked the wrong kind of childhood smell- that of a sticky, way too sweet, sugar-coated purple lolipop.  |  Ahhh...candied and green, all at the same time. It hits you with a sweet fresh raspberry note, then some greenery intertwined. Next, sweet violet. The drydown is a soft violet with a hint of clove. I'm so glad it's back!24 May 2007 |
