Reviews of Bizarre| Darvant ItalyShow all reviews | This is in the same vein of Youth Dew (heavier in amber and vanilla) and other potpourri and heavy floral-aldehydic from the past full of claustrophobic moulds, multifaceted florals, hesperides, woods, greens, leathery-animal notes and all those elements that make a fragrance a bit stuffy if not combined and amalgamated with the highest level of craftsmanship, unlike this case. I find the wake of this scent a bit fat in flowers and too pungent and acid. In my opinion the central phase is a problem with its pungent link of ylang-ylang, hyacint, jasmine, muguet and other flowers. As well as the dry down is set and the floral pungency fades towards a mossy bed the smell starts a notable improvement. 31st October, 2011. (Last Edited: 15th November, 2011.) |
