Sweet, powdery, clean sums this one all up. I liked it better in the bottle than on me because I smelled similar to those Bounce dryer sheets. Not good! I mean, who wants to smell like a laundromat? Good starter scent for little girls, preteens, or those not too keen on wearing strong perfumes. It just smelled too phony to me. I think I'd rather wear that Love's Baby soft or plain baby lotion, powder, etc., than this. Not Avon's worst, but not it's best either. And yes, it has that distinctive Avon odor at the end which, probably, made it smell cheap and phony. 20 April 2008

A lovely musky scent with out being over bearing. a great perfume to introduce a girl to the world of fragrence, yet still about to be worn well past the teen years. i've been through numerous bottles! 10 April 2007

Good stuff for a young lady, and not at all expensive. My aunt used to wear this stuff when she was in her teens (she's not much older than I), and even one whiff of this scent even today really takes me back to the Seventies. Some make fun of all Avon fragrances out of sheer snobbishness. I admit that most are rubbish, but there are exceptions, definitely, and this is one of them. Is it Tabac Blond? No. Acier Aluminium? Hardly. Havana Reserva? Hell, no! But it is what it is, and that is a nice, sweet, innocent eau de cologne for young girls. 12 October 2006

This scent is very much a young, girly-girl little innocent thing that is just too sweet for its own good. It’s a comfortable scent when you feel like smelling like baby girl powder, and it may feel very cozy for a nap or a nice sleep, reminiscent when all things were simpler and happier. But the scent itself can become quite tiresome after a while. The sweetness just grows with the body heat and it may overcome all the other notes sending the baby powder to screaming proportions…thankfully though, after a couple of hours, the scent dies down on the same path that it came over from, the path of the naïve promenade that promises a lot but somehow you feel it’s time to grow up. It’s very big on the nostalgia factor. Cheap too! Beware: it has a lot of aldehydes. 14 August 2006

If you ask me, Sweet Honesty is the fragrance that inspired to soapy-powdery notes of Jlo's Glow. If you are looking for the perfect clean, fabric softner-style fragrance, this is it. Can't beat the price either. 02 June 2006

I remember Sweet Honesty! I think every little girl of my generation probably had at least smelled it someone else, if she didn't own it herself. My grandmother gave me a bottle of it one Christmas, the bottle was adorable; in the shape of a gingerbread man. Wish I'd kept it. I remember loving the perfume, and it smelling rather sweet. As I was allowed to keep the bottle in my posession and apply at will at age 8, it must not have been overpowering in any way. Lovely scent for a young girl. 09 May 2006
