I smelled this on one of my female friends and couldn't stop telling her how much I enjoyed it. She even handed me her scarf so I could bury my nose in it. She's a dark-haired Latina in her early 20s who dresses classy and seems exotic and mysterious to me. That may be why I associate this fragrance with someone who is elegant, mature, classy, dark and mysterious, exotic. I'm not sure how I would feel if I smelled it on a teenager or even a girl on her 20s who hasn't really grown out of the girly phase. It's not suitable for a rambunctious bleached blonde party girl, instead for a more serene woman (or young woman).

I tried this at the behest of the shop girl at my local Sephora. "Oh, you like woody Orientals? This is my favorite, and it's listed as one! Everyone says I smell so good when I wear it!"

OK, I don't know HOW Sephora decided to classify this swill as Woody or Oriental! It smells like sugar and bug spray! It's like they bottled sweat from the Welcome Run at fat camp.

NOT. A. FAN. I suppose it would appeal to many, it definitely has a similarity to Angel...and it does last.....and last....and last.... If only it weren't such a scrubber for me!

I don't get caramel. I despise most foodie fragrances. I do get the creaminess (whipped cream accord) and the darkness of mahogany. I also get some clear fruit, a mix of gorgeous and unusual mix of flowers, some dark sexiness, and a strange ethereal feminine form.
Everyone wants to know what I'm wearing and they mean it complementary. It smells like nothing else. It is surprising and unconventional.
I think the bottle fits it. Sleek and soft, sexy curves with shiny metal instead of glass to emphasize it's weird, otherworldly wonderfulness.

Toffee. Then more toffee. More toffee. Then - nothing

For some reason, this is mostly wood , vetiver, and amber on me plus the orchid and something 'powdery,' which I find cloying (the violet?). Can't smell the fruit at all. This has elements of Youth Dew and Angel, both of which I like. However, this gives me a headache, even in small doses.

This perfume seems to have 2 opposing elements to it. The first is lovely - I don't know how to describe it and I'm not going to bother trying to put a name to the various elements, sugar, caramel etc - but can be smelled throughout wearing it. The second is a very cheapy, perhaps '80s' element and I think it's a shame that it's there - it's strongest in the first, topnotes stage - the rather acrid fruity one. Just had a look at what else the perfumer has done and I see that Secret Obsession and lots of Lynx fragrances are there - hmmm.. I've just bought it and after a while of sniffing and resniffing to analyse it and see what I think (yes, I know, I am rather reckless when it comes to buying perfumes and sometimes buy them after the merest aquaintance!) I have discovered that it has actually created a 'burnt' sensation inside my nose. This burning effect has never happened with any other perfume and as a smell obsessive I've sniffed a lot throughout my life! I wonder what it is that is doing that?
Anyway I find I CAN wear it, don't find it sickening as I do with a lot of perfumes especially modern ones - the Cacharels, J'adore etc - and that is at least a mark in its favour. It also smells lovely when I smell it on other people. I would give this somewhere between neutral and thumbs up (for the mystery 'lovely' element). Can't have both so it's a neutral from me!

Incredibly synthetic, but I love it for some reason.

My second favorite scent of all time! Sweet, classy and elegant. Lasts longer than it's sister scent.

Does indeed begin like a lightweight Angel, then moves through a chemical melon phase like Prada by Prada. Turns my stomach. It did seem to be heading into something a bit more creamy/spicy when I scrubbed it about 25 minutes into its not doubt profitable but deriviative journey.

Horrible on me. I smell like a synthetic plate of caramel with powdered vanilla sugar on top. It does last forever with a heavy sillage, and I had a hard time scrubbing it off. Trying to give away my bottle (I received it as a gift).

After sampling Euphoria at a fragrance counter, I just had to have it. Although it smells somewhat synthetic, it smells sexy and fun.The scent stays true on me for hours. I don't wear it as often as I used to because I've been experimenting with others, but I still like it very much. I'm a teacher, and several of my students wear it. I like to smell unique, so Euphoria spends too much time on the shelf :-(

The scent is very good, but I wouldn't buy it again since it lasts only for a couple of hours, no matter how much I put on.

Really enjoyed this fragrance and it seems to last most of the day. Sometimes its a little on the sweet side depending on my mood and I find the shape of the bottle difficult when spraying sometimes.

I bought this for a friend of mine because it smells fantastic. Not thinking anything of it, i asked what she was wearing one day thinking it was angel, and in fact it was Euphoria!
A well made fragrance, complex, long lasting, and the sillage is AMAZINGGG!!!
Kinda weird bottle though, i dont think its very appealing.

smell too synthetic.its ok ,but i wouldnt buy it.

The castrated Angel. Angel without its spiciness. Very sweet undefined juice + caramel. Flat, plain, vulgar. Not my fav.

Like most of the Calvin Klein fragrances, this is wonderfully unusual and unlike any other scent I've tried, and like many fragrances, it smells a little different on every person who wears it. To anyone who is thinking of buying it, I recommend sampling it generously first to see how it works on you. I know with me, it starts out as a sweet spicy floral and ends up being more of a "woodsy" fragrance not unlike men's cologne.

I go back and forth with this one. It's definitely the best CK release since Obsession, but I can't help but think I've smelled this a million times before. However - the more I try it, the more I think it really *is* quite unique. Sweet, yes, but also smokey and rich in a way that I like (has the same "feel" as Trouble by Boucheron). More sophisticated than your run of the mill fruity fragrance, for sure. I can certainly understand its popularity, and maybe that's one of the reasons I hesitate to buy a bottle (hate smelling like everyone else!), BUT I have a feeling a bottle will end up in my collection in the not-so-distant future. ;-) Definitely has the "yum" factor!

it smells like cotton candy for about 30 minutes.doesn't last long like all my perfumes but i think it's the altitude.i live in the mountains now but when i lived in new orleans my perfume lasted all day.

Euphoria is a fragrance that I've visited often. Stalked it really. I couldn't decide if I liked it enough to buy.
There always seemed to be some strange synthetic note that bothered me.
But in the end, Euphoria won me over and I bought my first bottle.
On me, it is soft fruit, with a nice creme powder dry down. At first spray, it is a little strange. You have to wait for it to dry to your skin to appreciate it fully. And, personally, I believe Euphoria in its dry down is at its best! It is not long lasting on me. Though at first spray it seems almost too strong, it fades so quickly, you end up wishing you applied more!
I decided that I actually prefer spritzing it on my clothes than on me. I love the scent it leaves behind best. Just this soft sweet whisper on the cuffs of my sleeves. That is the Euphoria I love.

This just smells beautiful. Not overpowering, and just rish enough to feel like you're enveloping yourself in a warm blanket. I could wear this all the time

I love this fragrance because it smells like a rich raspberry cream.

I love this. It has a much lighter feel to it than obsession and yet it has it's own personality. It sort of smells like a cross between Prada and Burberry Brit to me which is very, very nice. A soft fruity tropical, wood, mellow yet noticable for sure.

Gorgeous fragrance. I love the bottle too, which is always a bonus.

Loved it on the sample cards in the magazines, but on me after about an hour, it just gets FUNKY! It's almost a musty, smokey thing that happens, like when you've stood in a bar all night long.

This is fantastic and very well named - all I did was smell it out of the bottle by chance and was instantly mesmerized in a state of euphoria, paralyzed to the spot for a few seconds before coming back to reality and thinking darn, that is amazing.

Love this perfume. Starts out somewhat sharp and ends warm and lush. Sort of goes quiet during the day and then gets going again early evening. I don't agree with the "one note" idea. Perhaps this perfume just doesn't work with that woman's body chemistry. My husband also loves it - and he's very particular.

So many negative reviews here, but this scent never fails to make me feel sexy. I find it's as good at the first drink of the night in lifting my spirts. Very strong, and definitely lingers until the next day, which is something I find pleasant... a nice remembrance of the night before :)

By the notes in this I should love it. It SHOULD be perfect, but no. This starts out beautifully. Slightly dark floral with a spark of bright fruit. Within five minutes, however, it changed quite suddenly to a bland and powdered musk scent. Very simple and almost single noted. Such a shame.

VERY LIGHT FOR A "WOODSY/ORIENTAL" SCENT. SMELLS LIKE SUMMER. I RECEIVE COMPLIMENTS ON THIS. VERY RICH YET, SWEET.

I like the scent and to me it smells like a softer or warmer more rounded version of Chopard's 'Wish'. Even though it smells floral, it tends to work well with my acidic system because it has a spicy base. I also find that it lasts long and does not dissipate quickly. Another thing that I liked about it was that the scent did not change over time and smelled the same at the end of the day. Some scents - when mixed with a person's body chemistry - change as the day progresses. I would recommend it to somebody who is looking for something different.

On me Euphoria smells like sugared almonds. It's not an offensive fragrance - just too sweet for me.

A terrific woman's scent. Extraordinarily creamy and lush with soft fruit and floral notes. I always enjoy smelling this one on the ladies, and I can't wait to see how the men's version turns out. It's been awhile, but finally a new winner by Calvin Klein.

Pomegranate + Persimmon + Lotus Blossom, Champaca Flower + Black Orchid + Liquid Amber + Black Violet + Cream Accord + Mahogany Wood = Smells like spices... the bottle is great but scent is not...

I'm reviewing euphoria again because at first i really didn't like it to much. The funny thing is: i still don't like it. But the other funny thing is: sometimes I LOVE IT!

I realized that after having this for a bouple months now, for me anyway, this scent is based on what my mood is, what the weather is, and what im wearing. That's probably why i didn't have a strong love for when i wore it. I recommend colder mornings for Euphoria personally!! Don't be to quick to judge perfume!!

This is such a lovely perfume. It's warm and creamy and very womanly. It's not overpowering and neither does it challenge too much, yet it remains unique in my mind. It's subtle enough that it won't revolt people who might not like it enormously, yet rich enough that it can't be ignored.

Calvin Klein takes alot of flack regarding their fragrances, and I'm certainly not one of their biggest fans...BUT...I do like Euphoria. The name doesn't click for me. I think it should have been called 'Angel Obsession'! Why you ask? Simply because it has the very best notes from Mugler's Angel and Klein's Obsession blended together in this single fragrance. At first spritz it's totally Angel. During drydown it morphs into a 21st century Obsession. I really like this one! With such mixed reviews, you need to try Euphoria for yourself.

This is a very nice perfume with one of the most effective marketing strategies I've ever seen! They gave you an actual sample in a vast number of magazines, rather than just a scented page. So, I got to try this on my skin straight from the advertisement!
When I first tried this on I SWORE it had chocolate in it! I was shocked to learn that it did not. It is a very "foody" smell. Very rich and creamy. Actually, what finally prompted me to go out and buy a bottle was when my husband tired it on and said he would also use it. It is no girlier than HM or Rochas men. I feel like this is definatly unisex. I hate that it is so trendy right now. But, when the hype dies down, it will definatly be a favorite!

At first, because of all the hype, I was reluctant to try this scent out but once I spritzed it, it smelt wonderful! Fruity and different is the best word to describe this though the scent does border on smelling like rotten fruit. The dry down keeps getting better and better as the scent gets sweeter to me and to top it all off, the lasting power is great! This is certainly one to try.

TOTAL EUPHORIA! I am loving this scent. The pomegranate, persimmon (yummy), amber, black orchid and amber are the strongest notes on me. Euphoria is sooo creamy; think heavy cream with persimmons and pomegranates. Sensual and very chic. This is by no means a man's perfume. This is all about a confident woman. Euphoria isn't for the princess, it's for the queen!

At first Euphoria smelled exactly like Hugo Boss' Deep Red with a touch of synthetic (think RL's Glamourous). Then after it warms on the skin for about 15 minutes the creamy and sexy fruit & floral woods notes come into play. My husband LOVED this and asked me to wear this more! Oh, and on me Euphoria is very long lasting.

I disagree about Euphoria being a Prada wannabe, although I agree they're somewhat similar. I like it and wear it often; however, I prefer the spray deodorant atop the body lotion after the body wash for the day, and add EDP only for evenings.

In general, the perfume deodorants rule (I wish more made them), since they have an amazing staying power, yet they're not as intense as the EDP. And yes, you can use them all over the body, not just where one traditionally uses deodorant.

This is a wonderful scent that makes me think of blackberries. It's fruity and yet spicy and not too sweet. It lasts well and never fails to get me compliments. Definitely a new favorite. It may be one of those scents that varies a lot on people, because it seems to truly blend with my chemistry to create a wonderful, soft, and delicate feeling.

So sweet. You shold use it when you are happy in mood, and you are in safe. Toffee girl.

My guy's exact words when he smelled this on me were, "You smell like dirt! ...I like it!" It was hilarious, but I took it as a compliment. What he really meant was that he loves being in the great outdoors and it reminded him of his favourite wilderness scents.

Despite high hopes after the initial spray, I found this to be an unfortunate combination of Lou-Lou, Poison, and Obsession, plus some brighter notes, with the lasting impression of one of the Obsession knock-offs sold in dollar stores in the late 1980's...kind of like a latex condom filled with cough syrup held by two people, one whom is wearing Beautiful and the other is wearing Obsession. It has great staying power, though.

Warm, sexy, sweet...reminds me of nice fireplace, a glass of brandy and the smell of a cigar...I love it on me...

I tried it on. It smelled like Prada wnannabe. Plus, the scent didn't develop or fade very nicely. Some people will like it for its strong, oriental notes, but I wanted more depth.

I associate Calvin Klein with cheap, toxic chemicals. Eternity for women was found to contain a huge percentage of deadly chemicals under its ingredient "parfum". Wow, that's sexy! And now we have Euphoria, a name which conjures up the smell of wild herbs, lotus blossoms, ginger, spices. But here we have only synthetic ingredients. This fragrance is hardly worth reviewing. All Ck's and Ralph Lauren's fragrances seem more about marketing and hype than substance. A fragrance for the masses. Garbage.

yes it is different for calvin klein but so what!its a warm oriental floral smell which is great for both day and night

I get lots of compliments on this, especially as it dries down. I use the gel perfume, which is more subtle, less of a whomp upside the head than the EDP spray. A good fall/winter fragrance, very warm.

I don't really see what all the fuss is about. It's pleasant, sweet, slightly fruity. Nice bottle and nice drydown...Overall, it's "eh".

Though the ingredients seem quirky and exotic, in combination this is not an original fragrance. I smell a lot of "Angel" in it; especially in its drydown. The bottle is indeed ludicrous. If you don't get the symbolism it's your loss.

Calvin Klein fragrances have never appealed to me, and Euphoria is no exception. To me it smells like a combination of Obsession and Cinema, and it's not as striking as Obsession or as bad as Cinema. This smells quite nice on the paper test strip, but on my skin it's just boring.

I work with fragrances all day and when this one was delivered we all couldn't wait to see what it was like, for me its a big yipee!!! its so different from the usual CKs and the bottle design is so contemporary, love it!!!!

a lovely and refreshing new calvin klein quite different from the others...original and slightly fruity originally reminiscent of Montblanc "femme individuel" but settles to be sexy and warm

Cloying, synthetic, and completely without merit

Kind of a little disappointed with this one at first; the notes sound so spectacular on paper but when I tried it on, all I got was a semi-clone of lots of other dark-fruit, slightly cough-syrupy scents out there, new and old ones ranging from classic Dior Poison to the brand new Ines de la Fressange. I guess I was expecting something a little more spectacular but then again, Calvin's scents have often taken their cues from other fragrance trends floating around out there and then "Calvinized" them by adding something specific to the brand's persona. In this case, I think this happens most noticably in Euphoria's drydown, which takes a long time to arrive but is a big, big consolation to the seemingly ordinary topnote introduction. The base brings together a profound wood note touched with very good candied fruit and a general plushness and luxury that's somehow not of this time or place. It makes me think of Vienna, for some reason, and it really is very beautiful and becomes even deeper over time. I will end up buying this and will have to come up with a different "pet" name for it, as the Euphoria moniker makes less than zero sense to me.

My gf's Vogue had an insert of this, and it smelled quite good! Waiting to find a place that sells it to buy her a bottle.
