If perfume could wear red lipstick, tight black dress with enormous shoulder pads and strum along on an electric guitar - this would have a presence on the Addicted to Love video circa 1986.

Evocative of 80s Yuppie decadence. I love it.

This review is for Panthere Eau Legere, a flanker of Panthere, which I do not see listed under the "House" fragrances. The bottle looks just like the Panthere bottle, but the juice is light green, and this lovely fragrance is not
like Panthere; it smells very clean in a floral/fern sort of way, with emphasis on the fern. It has good longevity and sillage, and is great for summer..people always say "What are you wearing?" A very fresh and lasting scent. Two thumbs WAY WAY up.

I received it as a gift, and I only use it on very special, gown- required occasions. It is heavy, it sticks on for long. But I am 23 and it can't be your daily-thing under 40.

Godeke_Michels describes Panthere perfectly. Just want to add that my 16 year old daughter bought me the EDT because it reminded her of how I smelled when I came home from my orchestra gig - she called the smell "cold perfume." it is a "perfumy" fragrance; for me it evokes childhood memories of what I considered to be "grown-up" smelling perfumes. Just love it.

Revision 2011: having run out of the EDT, I bought the pure parfum. Greatly prefer the EDT but can't find it anywhere word is Panthère is discontinued); it has a fresher, more sparkly top note, tho both dry down similarly.

Tuberose, gardenia, and tonka. You bet, it's sweet. You bet, it's floral. It's not the type of perfume that I normally wear, but the dry-down is so exquisite, so smooth and warm that it impressed me. It keeps giving, hours later, growing softer and avoiding the harsh pitfalls of tuberose. For reference, another tuberose scents that I enjoy is Jil Sander4 with its vanilla base and Robert Piguet Fracas for bolder moments. Panthere is more wearable and enjoyable than Poison, which got all the publicity--no fair.
