A recent discovery and a welcome addition to my School Run collection, this is a refreshing but retiring fragrance. I should say it's utterly unisex, with its citrus and woods. It's clean and I find it lasts all day, which is great. I intend to wear it a lot this summer - I think it's ideal for hot weather, partly because it does the 'disappearing and reappearing' trick - it doesn't overwhelm. On the downside, it does obviously have the slightly synthetic aspect that seems to be compulsory in fresh scents nowadays. But it manages it so well that I give it an unequivocal thumbs up.

As I sat down to write about this, I read RuffDawg's reveiw and saw the comment about Image Woman being unisex. So I retested it and alas, he is right. Very bright and fresh in the opening, the grapefruit constantly saying hello. It settles into a slightly sticky sweet but well tempered by a green from an unripe fruit (maybe the crushed green leaves).

If the Fresh Energy Image for men had not been recently launched, I would by this for my personal use. But the sticky sweet nature detracts from the freshness for me, and this is where Fresh Energy shines. Definately for a younger crowd or as a sporty fragrance if you are not so young.

Concerning longevity, this pulls the disappearing act like the Image for men does, only to reappear several hours later at a majestic dry down; in this case a yummy edible fruit, but you do have to apply a bit heavy.

This should be unisex. There's nothing definitively feminine or masculine about it, its just fresh, clean & very uplifting. Great for warmer weather, as its never heavy or cloying. Much more wearable than the mens version, IMO. I have the EDT and the Parfum, I prefer the EDT as it is lighter and a bit brighter, but the parfum lasts much, much longer. There seems to be a bit more wood & leather in the parfum than the EDT. I really like the parfum's refillable silver bottle & its very cool metal travel case. It can be unscrewed and refilled with a parfum refill or with EDT, I really like that option. Dont let the low price tag fool you. this is a good one! I remember back in 2000 when this was released I paid over $60 for a 2.5oz EDT and now it sells for around $20 bucks! I remember at the dept store they gave away silk orange tulips with a Cerruti Image tag around the stem, they sprayed the flower with the scent instead of a traditional paper card, I thought that was a really neat idea. Surprisingly this scent hasnt been reformulated, as so many other scents have been. I hope they dont ever discontinue this, I think that I'm gonna stock up a few bottles just incase. Highly recommended!

This is very pleasant. Slightly spicy and very green. An unusual combination. longevity is poor, about 2 hous tops on my skin, but it is so inexpensive that you can afford to reapply as much as you like. Not a drop dead gorgeous smell, but nice enough to use for every day use.
