Allure Eau de Toilette (1996)

Just sensual, sexy, and the fragrance that makes me feel soft, feminine and pretty. One of the first I bought that I still have. Just a little have that I don't want to use the last of.

I find I wear Allure quite well. It doesn't come off as a heavy or cloying just light and easy to wear. It's something I'll just spritz on when I'm in a rush and don't want to think about fragrance. Works well in warm weather on me. It is pretty generic and not up to Chanel's caliber, and I wouldn't purchase it, but I received it as a gift several years ago and the bottle's more than half gone...so that speaks for itself. Like it but don't love it.

This is actually rather lovely! lt's a subtle, elegant mix of creamy rose, jasmine & vanilla on my skin, & to my relief l didn't get any of the fruity notes. On sniffing my arm my SO declared it to be "gorgeous", an incredible feat as he rarely compliments me on any of my frags! l think l'm going to have to purchase this, or at least get him to give me some for Christmas. l can imagine it working well for pretty much any occasion, but l'd say it's more suited to warmer weather. Longevity is great & sillage just right. Very nice!

I have great consideration about Jacques Polge, the creator of masterpieces like Chanel Coromandel, Egoiste and Ungaro lll, notwithstanding i can't avoid to tell that this scent, an experimental link of honeysuckle, vanilla, citruses and fruits, is one of the worst scents ever created. I smell it as a repulsive, nauseating, vile stuff and pronouncing these words is not usual for me (i tend to find out a story, a reason, an emotion behind each fragrance even if i don't particularly appreciate it). Allure smells dirty and fat, it reminds me those cheap unbalanced scents worn by some old women coming from far eastern lands. A failure.

Yes, it is really multi-faceted, isn't it? Can something really be "simply...complex?" Um hm. Allure is that. Really, really pretty. Wears well, too. Lasts.

I adore this!This is a warm and sensual perfume.Clean and fresh in the opening and alluring in base.Long lasting and delicate.Feels sweet and comfortable on skin.Perfect for all day wearing including an evening out with friends . Feminine and modern.
