This fragrance smells afwul on my skin! I tried it at the airport just before flying, felt literally sick during the whole flight!! Sooo powdery, so heavy (although I had sprayed only once?!). I want to give it one more try with Allure Sensuelle, I've heard it's a lot softer and a bit sweeter, but the original Allure is definitely not working for me... 23 October 2007

Putrid. Should be renamed "Appalling". A vulgar, noxious cloud that seems to be the choice of females who already draw enough attention to themselves by their unpleasant nature (clawing, materialistic, shallow and predictably difficult and demanding towards all lesser mortals) and make themselves only appreciated by their abscence. Like this insult to Mlle. Chnel's philosphy 'Luxe is simplicity". Next! 11 February 2007

Allure is lovely, but finishes too quickly. It's a shame it doesn't have the stamina to last....at least on me. 15 December 2006

I know this has been very popular around the world and it does have a nice smell, but it is not what I'd call special. To me it almost smells like a light floral with just a hint of spice, but it is so subtle that I had to spray a lot on just to check what it smelled like. It wouldn't work for me because I would find it a little too bland. I like a little more punch to a scent. So I would say it's a beautiful smell, but just not for me. 16 October 2006

I own this fragrance, but have not been wearing it as of late. It is a nice, pleasnat floral that I can wear and smell good in, but not distinctive. 14 October 2006

It's a feminine, powdery smell but like the previous reviewer said, it just lacks vitality. It's very ladylike and a bit strong for me - gives me a headache sometimes. But it's quite pleasant if you spray just a tiny bit. 11 August 2006
