When I was a teenage guy in high school (back in the mid 60's) this was the scent that all of the girls wore. It was really a nice sexy smell. Powdery, warm and not too strong. Wow, that was 44yrs ago. To this day, Heaven Sent reminds me of those "first" intimate times with the girls. It brings back so many fond and very pleasant memories.

My very first perfume! Mom bought this for me in third grade. Very powdery and feminine.

Heaven Sent is a lost - but not forgotten - treasure! A spicy floral with a dry and powdery dry down...it makes me think of sparkling fairy dust, glimmering perfumed particles gently falling to earth ~ sort of magical! (I don't know what the re-vamped 2001 version smells like, I'll be sure to try it when I find it.) There is also an understated sweetness in this potion. Bath and Body currently makes a scent called "Moonlight Path" which is reminiscent of Heaven Sent. To me, it is ageless!

This should be one of the Poster Children for lost vintage scents. The new version is only a ghost of its former self. The vintage formula is a beautiful, layered powdery floral that changes & evolves on the skin. It really is like Heaven. The new formula is like powder scented bug spray. Some things should NEVER be messed with. If it's not broken, don't fix it!
So in a nut shell, the thumbs up is ONLY for the original. Don't waste your money on the new one unless you have NO IDEA what the original smelled like.

The original Heaven Sent, by Helena Rubenstein, was lovely. The 'new' version; feh! What a shame. It smells like it's been 'cheaped down'. I don't know what they've done to it. At first I thought it was my body chemistry that had changed, but now I'm convinced they've absolutely changed the formulation. Pity.

Lucifer's girlfriend wears this kerosene-based hell juice, I do believe. I had a trig teacher in high school who bathed in this oily concoction, and many of us hung around her only to ask questions about logarithms and watch our friends' nose hairs curl at the same time.

Best applied on one's enemies.
