I love Love's Baby Soft! It reminds me of when I was a pre-teen. I see it at the drugstores and I always have to stop to smell it. I was in the dollar store tonight after work and there it was, a tiny bottle of it. For a dollar - I couldn't resist. I'll probably go back & get a few more bottles & give one to my sister she'll appreciate the nostalgia. It's a very young scent, think cotton candy meets baby powder but it is light, not sickeningly sweet like Aquolina Pink Sugar. This fits best for a pre-teen or perhaps a nostalgic adult.

Simple, basic, and completely bland...I never would have chosen it for myself, even at 13...and, yet, I owned at least 20 bottles, because apparently there was some secret law in the early 1980's that said you had to give your babysitter a bottle of Love's Baby Soft every Christmas.

A simple, baby powder fragrance that is suitable for a tween's first scent, but not much else.

Love's Baby Soft is fun, simple, pretty and a big bargain. Anyone who doesn't see the beauty in this one has no sense of humor...When I was 10, LBS set me on the path to all my favorite powders that are leagues more sophisticated. LBS is great for what it is.

Certainly not for anyone over the age of 13, but Love's Baby Soft sure is nice. I admit it. I own a bottle. But only to wear around the house and use as air freshener. Its soft powdery scent is a pleasant trip down memory lane. It really is a shame that it was worn alongside crimped hair, acid washed jeans, and LA gear sneakers, but at the time they were as fashionable as it is. The difference is they went out of style and Baby Soft did not. Good for a nostalgic romp; just don't wear it out of the house. Fortunately, it's price allows you to be so frivolous in its use.

I got a whole pack of mini "love" perfumes from my aunt, who had been a teenage girl during the height of it's popularity, when I was about 12. From the way she fawned over it, I could tell she had been a fan. I wasn't quite so enthused. I think my upbringing ruined me for these - my mother patronized Chanel and Geurlain and I grew up in a fog of No. 5 and Champs-Elysses. "Baby soft" is certainly pleasant enough but even in the seventh grade thought It smelled basically of the baby powder my Dad put in his socks.

I still have some of these samples, but I don't often wear them. I use them mostly to freshen up my bathroom - which smells great. :)

I love this fragrance! It is light & airy which is perfect for warm weather. I never wore it as a young girl but after hearing so much hype about it from so many I people decided to go out and buy a bottle. I chose the body mist instead of the body spray and fell in love with Love.
