I didnt like it at all....first it smelled like a man's perfume! then I really dont like aquatic notes..not original at all..I could wait to get rid of it..nothing feminine about that one!

Yuck. And I knew it, too, because it's an ocean/marine/aquatic scent which I never wear well at all, because they turn sour on me. This did the same. And it was a bit too sweet for me as well. It's a sticky, sweet, candy like scent. Bubbly. The men's didn't smell much better either. They both smell cheap, too.

this smells like bug spray to me, though it is one of the best bug sprays I have ever smelled, next to J'adore by Dior.

I like this, its a nice summertime scent. No, its not wildly original, its quite sweet and there is nothing subtle about its composition. But its a nice everyday fragrance- you know, for a trip to the markets, or the beach, or for lunch with girlfriends.

This one does not strike me as a sexy fragrance. Best to have a collection, different frags have their purposes!

What IS it about Cool Water?? I just don't "get" this fragrance, neither the men's nor women's version. They both smell below average and uninspired to me - *however* - I am disappointed that I don't get that visceral response to them, because when people love Cool Water, they seem to looooooooove it on some deep primal level. I'm not a perfume snob (I love Aspen on men, for instance), but this stuff just leaves me cold. Sigh, oh well. Can't love 'em all, I guess.

19 out of 30 (2/3) of Davidoff fragrance is some variation of "COOL WATER". How many more re-runs must we endure? At any rate, this Cool Water Woman is simply a sweet fruity floral top with a woodsy ozone marine drydown. Yep, that pretty much covers it. I'm not sure why this bland (oops, I mean blend) has been so wildly popular with the general public...maybe after I lose my sense of smell I'll figure it out.

My friend got this for me. Smells masculine like a lighter version of Cool Water for man. The scent didn't last too long on me maybe a few hours but the good thing was that it didn't give me a headache like some perfumes. My brother likes it and says it was nice (something he didn't say with the perfumes I liked) but he likes to wear Cool Water for men. Personally it's not for me.

The fruit notes in Cool Water are just too many. I believe the pineapple & honeydew combine at first to make a not nice blend, and later the muguet and peach join in the not nice, to make it really not nice.
this is the only scent I have ever worn that made me feel bad. Bad combinations, I dislike writing bad reviews, but do try it (more than once) before you buy.

This scent opens very light and fresh and my first thoughts are always... ahhh, summer at the beach... before descending into the , "is that caramel, fruitcake or licourice I detect?" The dry down gets worse - think pure lollypop. However, I have to give this scent some credit, its original, tantalising and light. On the down side, these notes are much better eaten than worn on your skin. Sweet is just not me. I might reach for this one occasionally for something different, but only if I was going to spend the day at the beach or in the garden. Never wear this one on a date or if you're out to impress, it just won't work.

I know a few women who wear mens' fragrances for variety's sake and simply because there are notes that they like that are not commonly found in womens fragrances. However, Cool Water Woman is so good, that I'm almost tempted to wear it myself (it reminds me of Escape for Men for some reason...) Everytime I smell this on a female friend, I'm given a positive impression and consider it one of the all time 'fresh/fruity' scents.

It's true, men will love this fragrance on you. I love it, too - very original and mmmmm, what a great combination of summery fruit. Still, a little goes a long way; I find it a bit overpowering when people use too much. Plus, a lot of people wear it. One more thing (good/bad? you decide) - I've never noticed a fragrance that transfers so strongly onto my clothes/my guy as Cool Water Woman does. If you're snuggling with anyone, they'll smell just like you. ;)

Love this one. Nice and light, a bit on the sweet side, pleasantly fruity, understated but quite original. The top notes are really cheerful and fresh, and the middle notes are nicely floral. This fragrance is wonderfully fresh and clean, doesn't smell too "perfumey". Perfect for many occasions.

This fragrance can be used almost anywhere, for any occasion, anytime. It's young yet sophisticated, a little heavy yet cool, quite sexy yet casual. It's a perfect balance of florals and fruit without smelling too much like either. I really like this one.

Very strong sillage from this scent. My wife has worn it in the past based on my usage of Cool water for men. I think this is a stronger showing for the woman in your life than for you. This version is a very clean, warm, relatively low cost option

It's always a treat to dive into this fragrance; everything about it is cooling and refreshing, from the swimming-pool blue shade of the bottle to the dew-drenched array of fruity topnotes to the very well blended and quite unique base. (How often do you see mulberry as a basenote?) A perfect summer fragrance and one that I can't see ever really going out of style.

This is a loveley fruity fragrance, I particularly like the pineapple and melon. I think it is a young scent because it is not too heavy. I first smelt it on a work mate and it stood out as being different from everyone else, fresh without being too cloying. I work in a small office and it is difficult finding something that is strong enough to linger but which does not overpower everyone else's perfume. I do prefer the fruity smells although I sometimes wonder if it would be easier to rub a slice of cucumber behind your ear. I also love the blue bottle -I do think a bottle ought to look like a bottle - you shouldn't neee a degree in mechanics to work out how to get the lid on and off! anything going in and out of your handbag (along with the kitchen sink) needs to be practical.

Quite possibly my favorite scent on my wife. Light and airy, this is one that you can get a little itchy with the trigger finger and not devastate those in close proximity to you. Or maybe it's just that good. The fruity top notes are very apparent and invigorating. Quickly dries down to a more "firm" scent full of jasmine. All the while these notes are swimming in a cool aquatic accord that I find both soothing and sexy on her. Perhaps the biggest gripe we both have over Cool Water for women is its subpar staying power. Much like its male counterpart, it's one of those scents not likely to offend most folks.

If you are a girl who likes to smell amazing then this is what you want. Detectable from 10 feet away yet not too strong and never offensive. Guys will like you if you wear this fragrance.
