  |  This opened promisingly - very much so. A strong, dark, spicy confusion of scents that were, indeed, evocative of the southern med. But for me it was totally ruined by the sweet vanilla note that emerged within minutes of spraying it on, an unwelcome Northern European intrusion into what had been a hot, primal mediterranean scene. If they had just stuck with the sandalwood this could have been my HG but as it is, it's a scrubber. 22 October 2007 |
  | It is funny that there is a comment about mother wanting this fragrance for Christmas. It is also my mother's favourite perfume. I believe it is a more mature, sophisticated scent. Not for younger ladies. Although very pleasant, it is not something I would particularly wear - it does feel a little old school to me. I wish it would be a sign in between thums up and neutral as I cannot decide which one to add. 21 March 2007 |
 | When I asked my mother what she wanted for christmas she told me she wanted this perfume. She loves it, she says she smells hint of coconut in it and thats just a delightful exotice blend of fragrences. I think it smells really nice, but isn't really my type of perfume to wear on a daily basis, it is sort of strong, I would wear it on certain occasions, and my mother would wear it on a daily basis. I would recommend buying this perfume, however I would suggest if you are picky that you sample it first. 08 September 2006 |
