Top note: Green Note, Mandarin, Peach, Bergamot
Middle note: Freesia, Rose, Jasmine, Mimosa
Base note: Cedar, Sandal, Vanilla, Cinnamon

The opening green note is quite sharp and I find it just a bit unpleasant until it lowers its vibration after a few minutes. This sharp opening is almost immediately followed by a clear fruity / green with a background wood / cinnamon accord from the base – that deeper, darker wood background improves the fragrance considerably because it grounds that otherwise generic top accord and adds some needed depth and breadth to it. The florals of the middle form an undifferentiated bouquet which is also saved by the wood / cinnamon background depth. Escada Acte 2 is not really very feminine — it’s not masculine either. I think it just pretty much lacks any kind of identity.
