   |  This was my favorite fragrance of the three fragrances reintroduced by Faberge (then owned by Cary Grant) in the 60's...Woodhue, Tigress and, I think, Aphrodisia. Woodhue was a warm, woody and somewhat sweet concoction. Cheap, yes, but very nice. Maybe I should try the new version, because the old version was truly memorable!22 February 2009 |
 | My first signature scent. Bought for me when I was a teen, by my mother (who has excellent taste in fragrance IMHO), I loved it. I had the powder too. A sweet, woody scent, that always seemed so...optimistic! The reformulation is not like the original, so I recently bought a vintage bottle on eBay, which I will covet. It smells marvelous, and is perfect for this time of year (in the Northern Hemisphere..Fall, Winter). Sandalwood sweetened with orange, this fragrance lasts and lasts. Moderate sillage, too.  | I wore this perfume as a teenager. It's a wonderful warm fruit fragrance that works well in the fall and winter months especially. I used to spray it on my sweaters. Glad to hear they still make it. 23 March 2007 |

| Woodhue was a woody floral with wonderful sillage. It had notes of sun-ripened orange accord, zesty bergamot, and citrus sparkle. Middle notes featured jasmine and cashmere petals. Base notes were a blend of sandalwood accord, vanilla and silken musks. My mother would wear this quite a bit in the early 70s. Smelled great on her and had great sillage. 11 April 2006 |
