This was my favorite fragrance of the three fragrances reintroduced by Faberge (then owned by Cary Grant) in the 60's...Woodhue, Tigress and, I think, Aphrodisia. Woodhue was a warm, woody and somewhat sweet concoction. Cheap, yes, but very nice. Maybe I should try the new version, because the old version was truly memorable!

My first signature scent. Bought for me when I was a teen, by my mother (who has excellent taste in fragrance IMHO), I loved it. I had the powder too. A sweet, woody scent, that always seemed so...optimistic! The reformulation is not like the original, so I recently bought a vintage bottle on eBay, which I will covet. It smells marvelous, and is perfect for this time of year (in the Northern Hemisphere..Fall, Winter). Sandalwood sweetened with orange, this fragrance lasts and lasts. Moderate sillage, too. Get the original!

I wore this perfume as a teenager. It's a wonderful warm fruit fragrance that works well in the fall and winter months especially. I used to spray it on my sweaters. Glad to hear they still make it.

I find Christian Dior's DOLCE VITA very similar and much easier to find. Citrus sweet with a warm woodsy drydown. Nice!

Woodhue was a woody floral with wonderful sillage. It had notes of sun-ripened orange accord, zesty bergamot, and citrus sparkle.
Middle notes featured jasmine and cashmere petals. Base notes were a blend of sandalwood accord, vanilla and silken musks.

My mother would wear this quite a bit in the early 70s. Smelled great on her and had great sillage.
