Reviews of Florissa

I love this scent. I have worn it for 25 years which is unusual for me after jumping around from scent to scent. I have not found one like it since they discontinued it. Florissa has a fresh/powdery scent with a hint of rose and jasmine. The fresh is like green grass and cedar. Very unusual.

Firstly, the only celebrity endorsement worth having is the Royal warrant. Penelope Cruz may or may not like Tresor, but you can bet your life she gets paid a shed load for saying she does. A Royal Warrant on the other hand, means the Royal actually buys the stuff with their own money and they don't get paid for saying so.

The venerable Floris has a Royal Warrant from the Queen. With that endorsement behind them, it's surprising they put out this, because the best I can say is, it's not great.

It starts off a rather sophisticated floral, not sweet like the contemporary florals we are used to. It ends up somewhere else. I'm not sure where but it's not worth finding out. Sillage and longevity average. Not a particularly attractive bottle either.

It is marked here as in production, but there are posts elsewhere on the net saying production has ceased and it's not for sale on their website. Given the prices charged by Floris, that doesn't surprise me. Why pay that kind of money for this?
