|  I'm no "nose", but I knows what I like and this ain't it! Bought it by mail order, fully expecting to love it, ylang and vanilla - what's to go wrong? It's sweet and nasty. Think the ylang in this is brutal. I can't bring myself to wear it and wouldn't dream of inflicting it on someone else but the miser in me won't throw it away. Maybe I'll water it down and use it as a dustbin freshener.10 May 2006 |

| I have yet to find one of the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria lines that I have really cared for. This one isn't too bad, but a little too smoky overkill in the vanilla. Dear hubbie didn't like this one either. Too mainstream. 13 February 2006 |

| There's something off in the top notes of this one. There's a vanilla/floral duel going on. So much so that I want to hold my breath when I spray it on. That prevents me from wearing it often. It smells cloying, like play-doh and aldehyde oppression. I very seldom like aldehydes, so that is a factor. It gets better about 1 1/2 hours later, when it mellows. But when I have to pick what fragrance to wear, one thought of that heavy, almost salty sweetness gives me pause. Could stand to be reformulated, as there's a good scent that reveals itself later. 09 February 2006 |
