  |  I loved this fragrance when it was first launched in 1992, but when I tried it again in 2005, I found that I didn't like it anymore. I think this is partly because it had become so commonplace, and partly because my taste had changed. I now much prefer the very similar Escape by Calvin Klein. But L'Eau D'Issey was very cutting edge when first launched, and it deserves its place as an iconic fragrance.29 October 2008 |
 | I fell in love with L'Eau D'Issey when if first came out, and it was my signature scent for many years. To me LEDI is the epitome of a clean, fresh (but not citrusy), and light scent - if you could bottle a breeze, this would be it. It's pure, refined, and never overbearing; floral without being flowery. They say you can never go back, but I'm tempted to buy a bottle simply to reminisce that simpler time in my life! 10 June 2008 |
