Reviews of Patou For Ever ![]() dark phoenix 123 SingaporeShow all reviews | I think the relatively unimpressive packaging (partcularly the light blue box for the edt version) has done grave unjustice to this rather magnificent scent which has really grown on me. It is easy to dismiss it at first sniff as yet another floral perfume. But i like the slight saltiness which smells extremely sensual to me... :) 3rd May, 2011. |
![]() Show all reviews | For the first time a Patou fragrance opts for the irresistible sweetness of a fruity accord: pineapple, raseberry, melon - which give the perfume a fresh and contemporary note (why did they discontinue it???). The midde-notes consist of an opulent harmony of rose and lilly of the valley. The radiance of this wonderful perfume is prolongued by muted woody aspects of sandalwood, iris and violet. Wearing this, I feel adorned with a"silky aura" - and the sillage is truly enchanting. 7th March, 2010. |

The flacon gives off a scent of raspberry when I pick it up. The opening is not unlike being hit with a bowl of fruit salad over your head. Very strong, almost cloying scent. The drydown is more pleasant, but I can't suffer through all the sweet fruit to wait to get to it. 29th June, 2008. (Last Edited: 22nd July, 2008.) |

Much more classy than most of the newer celebrity fruity perfumes on the market now because it is well blended with other notes that bring it back to earth. But you have to love this, because it is strong and lasting stuff. It's discontinued (frown) but as of this writing, still pretty easy to get for well below its market value from online discount etailers. I hope to have it forever (pardon the pun) so I have two huge bottles. This is quite easily one of my all-time favorites. 30th November, 2007. |
![]() luckylouie AustraliaShow all reviews | A crisp green floral with decent staying power. In many ways this reminds me of Trussardi with brighter fruity top notes and minus the deep smoky drydown. If you find it on sale cheap it's worth getting as a good daytime fragrance that will only need one possible application after lunch. However, try Trussardi Light or Ma Griffe for similar effects. 20th December, 2006. |
