   |  I bought this for my wife a couple of years ago principally as a nod to the significance of the flower in Buddhism ( she is Japanese). It seemed pretty strong on first impression but, once she started wearing it, I was able to pick up the complexity behind the intial floral notes. It smells great on her - a bit of a creamy camellia or frangipani followed by a light grassy tail. The staff at L'Occitane here in Japan tell me it is out of production so she is hanging on to the remainder and using sparingly.25 June 2008 |
