l had a bottle of this in the nineties & loved it. Since being discontinued (although a completely different fragrance with the same name has now been released) it's now extremely difficult to find, even on ebay. Having found out that it was later released by Coty under the name Wild Lagoon, l managed to track down & purchase a bottle.
l remember this as a big, rosy, spicy incense, & the bottle l have (exactly the same except for the name) is just that, except there's a slight fruitiness, almost like apple, in the top notes. lt's possible the formula was tweaked when the name was changed, or perhaps it's a result of aging. But no matter, it's still a lovely oriental with great depth, & good sillage & longevity. l've never smelled another fragrance like it, although the drydown is quite similar to that of Ghost. There is also a resemblance to Sun Moon Stars, although that one is "rounder", less spicy.
l'm very pleased to have this back in my collection.
