"Moschino" is a good example of a fragrance on the cusp of the metallic/oceanic/unisex revolution that would be the 1990's; It has an "open", airy kind of freshness but is grounded by the sugar-sweet floral core that was so prominent in 80's fragrances. It's almost like a mix of two major players of the early 90's: Calvin Klein's "CKone" and Elizabeth Arden's "Sunflowers". That reference might make some reader's stomachs turn, but "Moschino" actually manages to be quite subtle and pleasant, despite a semi-metallic undertone.

And this DOES work well on a man, scenteur7!! I wear it, and I'm a man (I think)! Yes, it reminds me of Cristobal for women, but with a little more complexity to the underlying middle notes. The base is still a warm and dark vanilla, but it has you wondering if there's not a hint of black pepper in there too. I would imaging those glitzy and glamourous ballroom dancers wearing either this fragrance or Cristobal by Balenciaga. They both are rather sexy fragrances and should be worn by sexy women. They are both winners. I think Krazy by Krizia was a similar fragrance, but much stronger and smelled akin to Anna Pliska from Hollywood. Those are also great long-lasting fragrances, kind of harkening back to the 70s and early 80s when fragrances would at least LAST, instead of be undetectable after 5 minutes like today's fragrances.

Another well-done grassy vanilloriental along the lines of Must de Cartier and Krazy Krizia. What makes this one different is the pepper and patchouli in the mid notes. Could work well on a man!
