I recently found this perfume at Loehmann's at bargain price. Unfortunately it is so overpowering it almost caused an allergic reaction on me. I guess I am not a fan of oreintal perfumes. I will give it another try by spritzing it in the air and 'entering' the cloud formed

An absolute MUST HAVE in your perfume collection. In my opinion, this is the holy grail when it comes to oriental scents. Been wearing it since '97. 'nough said ;)

I Love it!! Is not as overwhelming and expensive as Angel and is really long lasting.

I do not smell the comparison to Angel..Angel is a wonderful fragrance in its own right, but Sonia Rykiel is amazing....I never understood why it was abruptly pulled from department stores. I recall it selling well.

Having been gifted with this as a sample, I was delighted to find myself transported to a Victorian garden replete with butterflies, sunlight, white trellises and stepping stones. There is a very romantic feel to this, imo.
My blind guess of notes was mango in the top, rose in the heart and musk in the base.
The cedar is a nice grounding touch to the sweet topnotes and floral heart.
Wear it in the garden, or on a walk around a lake on a balmy day.

Well, if you can’t afford Angel or Angel Innocent then buy this fragrance. It’s more like Innocent as it has a soft citrus character rather than that cloying nature of Angel. It’s not quite as sweet but a little fresher and woodier. It’s very well produced even if it’s not an original concept. Of the other Angel try-hards (ie Wish etc), this is the most credible and can hold its own ground as a perfume.
