   |  Someone gave me a bottle of this when it first came out. I was at first offended by it. I thought they had given me some men's cologne. No sweetness, no floral, nothing like any of the perfumes I was used to. But it intrigued me, and I found myself wearing it until the small bottle was gone. It was to me exactly as melancholic-botanist describes. I could not have described it any better. I think I will purchase a little bottle again, my tastes have changed and the intrigue I remember needs to be explored. 01 June 2008 |
  |  I don't know if it's the peach or the ylang ylang (likely the former), but something in this brew is too sweet for my tastes.I love Création's musky, animalic dry-down (must be the civet note), but the opening half-hour to hour can be and often is devastatingly sweet.   | I bought this from Singapore. This is a very chypre, fresh and fruity scent. It doesn't smell cheap and there is a tropical feel to this. It has more substance than the fruity scent that is created howadays. I went to search further om the web, here is the composition: Top Notes: Black currant bud, mango, passion fruit, peach, bergamot, lemon, mandarin, galbanum Heart Notes: Gardenia, jasmine, tuberose, narcissus, rose, ylang-ylang, carnation, lily of the valley Base Notes: Amber, oakmoss, musk, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla, civet 19 April 2007 |
   | So, sue me. Yes, I have a nose. Yes, I realize that this is a kinda cheap-y scent, but I still love it. I find it to be incredibly sensual and sexy. Granted, this could be just body chemistry, but it smells wonderfully on me, and I have received numerous compliments. At the same time, when my friend tried it it was really awful. More proof of the all-importance of body chemistry. Still - thumbs up, since I really DO love it on myself. 02 February 2006 |
