Not the best one this house has made, but still good. A little goes a very long way.

Not the best effort that I have come to expect from the House of Guerlain! I find this a little pedestrian and a little too sweet. I should state the disclaimer that I am not a fan of sweet florals, even though I like Insolence. My sister, on the other hand, IS a fan of flowery scents and she loves this. My advise...get a sample before making a purchase. I have never smelled the original formulation, so maybe I am judging unfairly.

I am a fan of Guerlain perfumes. This being said, I am not a fan of Champs-Elysees. Although it starts beautifully, it does have in the end one ingredient that keeps bothering me. It feels like it is there all the time and I cannot get rid of it. It may work on somebody with a different body chemistry than mine.

This is another masterpeace that don´t suits my skin. It becomes too sweet and a bit of a bore when I wear it. I envy all of you that wears this one well!

I know one friend of mine who is head over heels in love with this perfume and she is complicated yet bubbly, friendly and enthusiastic about everything. I have to say, this perfume suits her perfectly.

A light weight effort by Guerlain.Soap is word which springs to mind and has been mentioned by at least one other reviewer. Lasting power is again dissapointing in EDT form.
Carl999 has identified Buddleia and Mimosa seeds as a note which is offensive. I can't really find anything in this bland concoction which is strong enough to become offensive. Each to their own I guess! We at Kenmore QLD (just down the road) have no such problem with migratory birds though so perhaps Carl's views are based on bad experiences!

I want to love this, and it's possible I might in the EdP, but I have the EdT which has zero staying power. After about twenty minutes there's nothing to detect. I might as well be sniffing my watch band.
What I can detect is a lovely, clear floral with that honey touch you get in a lot of mimosas. The almond seems to leave a nice base (for 19 minutes and 55 seconds...) Sigh. Will have to hunt out the parfum.

On me, this is very creamy. Actually, it reminds me of what a really REALLY good quality soap or moisturiser should smell like.

I personally prefer something that is a little more spicy. I only tried this once, yesterday in fact. I might give it another try and see...

Mimosa is not my favorite but the Almond and Rose give this one class. It is a cheerful perfume, happy, one that I would expect to smell at parties; perhaps a bit too happy for me! I have only smelled the newer version.

Light weight Guerlain. How much can you strip from a fragrance and still retain some smell?
