I used to love this one. I still like it but I'm not in love with it. Its very distinct, not easily mistaken for something else, and for me I always picture a champagne bottle when I smell/use it. 07 August 2008

When i tried it several months ago what impressed me most, was it's staying power (edp). At 12th hour it was still completely on my wrist. At 24 hour it was slightly but barely there. At 36th hour there was still a undefinable smell on my wrist. I haven't experienced something like this before. This means a good chemistry between us. So i have taken this as a sign and bought one as soon as possible. For the last months it was my favorite. I agree with the scent's characteristics. Really joyfull and sunny. It is also extraordinary with the two uncommon main characters almond and mimosa blossoms. The strong silage of those almond blossoms plays a good trick on my mood. It makes me feel like bold cool lady with a thin wrist in tight bodice and a big artsy hat; walking on champs elysse in the early1900's. This really puts me up. sure i will order one more. 30 June 2008

Champs-Elysees is a masterfully blended floral who's popularity has withstood the test of time. Top notes of rose come across sweet and light, not heavy at all. This floral is quite transparent and yet has excellent staying power. Perfect fragrance choice for warm weather ~ bring on the heat! Another odd point to be made: when I apply Champs-Elysees, my spirit is lightened. Happiness and smiles come so easily...how can you not love that! 17 April 2008

I want to give this a solid try, I only spritzed on a little once, and honest-to-god, what I smelled was new library book! The thick, durable plastic-smell - I loved it! If it smells of that all the way through, I will seriously consider a bottle. What a different smell, and so unexpected from this. Maybe my nose was off that day, though? 07 April 2008

| Sparkling topnotes, somewhat like popping the cork on a Champagne bottle, as many others have said--it's true. The middle notes are like summer breezes in a beautiful bottle, a touch of almond and berries.... Light s fresh clean--not too sweet, not too light--My wife smells WONDERFUL wearing this scent.
She sparkles in it! 16 January 2008 |

I "inherited" a bottle of the EdT from my late mother. There is indeed a creamy quality about it. I agree that it lasts for hours and hours - even after 24 hrs the basenotes are clearly there - and that it creates a feeling of euphoria. Everytime I smell it, I am flooded with feelings of tenderness and joy - maybe it just has to do with my mother, though. 10 December 2007

I wore this scent when I got married. I found it to be light and clean yet creamy and sweet. It is very floral, and not something I would wear now. At the time though, it made me feel like a well cared for maiden. The mimosa is predominant, and the scent captures the very color of the blooms: bright pink with a creamy white center, a touch of green towards the stem. 08 December 2007

This was the second fragrance I ever owned , and I wore this through most of highschool. This is a fresh, optimistic, innocent scent, and I wish it was still available! It's J.M Barrie's "Neverland" in a bottle. 03 November 2007

Uplifting, beautiful clean floral. I'm usually very cautious of florals, as they can smell very sharp and bitter to me, but this has a refreshing quality that makes me feel happy. Very French. Love it! 28 May 2007

This has a uniquely creamy floral smell that I just love. If I put my wrist right against my nose, it can seem too sweet or strong, but the sillage is beautiful, which is why people around me seem to like it. 06 December 2006

A very bubbly, clean, happy fragrance. It is not my usual type and yet for a change I love it. It's very girly and light. I got it because it said it had almond and since it is a guerlain, I felt I could trust it. I cannot smell the almond very much, but I am not the least disappointed. It does have a champagne feel to it. I will wear it when I need a big change and a bit of a lift. It is not one that I feel would be offensive to most people. 14 November 2006

Champagne sipped in a sunny meadow. Wild roses and the warm moist scents of summer. This is a joyful scent. Caution: may induce euphoria. The bottles should get empty long before they get old. This scent can bring golden sunlight into the gloomiest dark day. 03 November 2006

Champagne-- yes. This always smells just like Champagne to me. A very fruity, very bubbly champagne. It reminds me of a Moet. It is the most sparkling representation of the Mimosa flower around. I somewhat prefer L'Artisan's Mimosa Pour Moi, however, as it is softer and more rich. 28 October 2006

I got this as a softer daytime alternative (I love Nahema, but not for the office.) I loved this when I first got it (EDP) but after a year or two, I started getting the headachey reaction other reviewers have mentioned, unless I used it sparingly. I'm wondering if it was just a matter of the bottle getting old. I miss it now that the bottle is empty, but I'm wondering if I'd be better off with the EDT this time. 14 October 2006

Oh, this fragrance is SO bubbling fountains in the sunlight. The carousel - the venodrs selling those lattice work cookies - the beeping horns. I MEAN. For me this is one everyone wants to know what it is. Course I love florals and the bottom not rose is what stands out and lasts on me. 06 September 2006

Lovely fragrence. On first spritz, i could have sworn I smelt champagane, then it melted into a lovely soft foral, which to me smells very... round, if that makes any sense. Its not a hard fragrence. Very sublte, but still very there. Not the usual scent for me, but I like it. ^_^ 10 April 2006

Incredibly female; this fragrance radiates pure feminity with an air of sophistication. This was the first fragrance I truly "loved" and I still wear it. 20 January 2006

I turn heads when I walk down the street wearing this fragrance. Some men stop and ask me what I am wearing.....I say the name fast in my best French accent. 09 July 2005

What a pretty, sparkling floral! Gentle notes of peach peek out of the floral topnotes, and the drydown is warm and sensual. I have the edt and the lasting power is incredible. Even after washing my clothes, I can still detect hints of Champs Elysees. 11 June 2005
