Chevignon 57 for Him (1999)

Top: Citrus, Cardamom, Mint
Heart: Orange Blossom, Violet Leaf, Cedar
Base: Patchouli, Musk, Violet, Cedar


Decent woody fougere scent. Quite sweet; a bit sweeter that many of its relative fragrances. Its also very light and it seems to be fading quite fast.
Synthetic green herbal freshness brings Eternity for Men to mind, although this isn’t nearly as strong plus it has those semi-gourmand (sweet powdery) nuances.
Base of this scent is very attractive yet awfully weak blend of luminous woods and “sugar” powder.

Nice little scent in a good-looking bottle. Basically right ingredients, but low concentration makes it kind of lame and short on lasting power. It would have needed more character, more full-bodied structure. It would’ve made this scent much more interesting.


Not popular scent and I suppose it’s kind of hard to find these days. Would not even be surprised if it was already discontinued.

Dynamic citrus-woody cologne with notes of citron, cardamon and mint on top, violet and cedar in the middle and patchouly and musk in the base. Fresh, spotry and masculine.
