Reviews of Arlington| Harvitz81 Show all reviews | A heavy lemon drop opening that is almost too much to bear, but subsides and smoothes out after around 10 minutes. The lemon blends with fern and a little musk throughout the heart and base. Classic, English gentlemen’s scent that is subtle and refined. Wears pretty close to the skin and lasts around 6-8 hours on me. I love everything in the Arlington line and this is no exception. While the opening is strong, it quickly fades into a very nice EdC like scent. 24th October, 2011. |
| Gilgamesh2003 United StatesShow all reviews | Lemon and fern and some kind of creamy, spicy base. A really fantastic scent. I experienced it first in their shaving cream (which is excellent) and was delighted to find that it was also a cologne. Very English, decent longevity. Masculine but not butch, this could be worn by a woman. A must-have. 27th August, 2010. (Last Edited: 10th October, 2010.) |

It always has been a variation on a traditional eau de cologne theme and always subtle. It was not reformulated in 2009 despite the misinformation in one of the reviews below. It's a signature cologne for this small English company, they would be crazy to reformulate it and they have told me they haven't - I believe them. 19th June, 2010. |

I have not tried the newer version but if anyone is interested in acquiring the "old" formulation I would suggest popping into Bel & Cia, 20 Paseo de Gracia, Barcelona who sell this as their house cologne and would amost certainly have some old stock. They have some nifty Panama hats as well if you've several thousand (euos or pounds- it's all the same) to spare. 24th November, 2009. |
| JDE United KingdomShow all reviews | I personally view this as a British take on Acqua Di Parma. Fresh lemon, clean light musk, but with a soap and some other citrus instead of florals. Clean, quiet, classy and can be had for very little money when compared to it's Italiano brother. It's an ideal classy daytime spring/summer cologne. The lemon lasts a couple of hours without going sweaty or turning to Pledge, and the musk is refined, clean and well blended with neroli and powdery soap. 8th August, 2009. |
| bokaba United StatesShow all reviews | When I read the rave reviews of D.R. Harris's Arlington on other sites, I decided to try it blind. I use the shaving cream, the aftershave splash, and the cologne...now I need the milk! Anyway, Arlington is advertised as a gentleman's scent that is subtle, refined, and under-powering. I think it fills these roles well. It begins with a burst of tamed citrus and neroli and dries down to powder and an ultra light musk. I highly recommend the Arlington range. 20th June, 2009. |
