   |  I am not inclined to buy a Bay Rum scent for myself, but I do think this one is very nicely done: warm and loaded with cloves! 30 August 2009 |
  | There has never been a phrase more apt to a fragrance than "does exactly what it says on the tin" An excellent refreshing preparation to douse yourself in after a shave. To me, there is no downside to this cologne other than the fact my girlfriend hates the smell of cloves but she loves me so she is happy to live with it. 16 June 2009 |
  | This is, to me, the finest, definitive, classic Bay Rum. It exudes the medicinal smell which defines barber shop to me; cloves, and a wonderful, smooth, linear bay rum accord. The whole thing is just so simple, so coherent, so natural smelling that it has charmed me utterly. It is clove heavy, in the English style, so best avoided if you have trouble with that spice. If like me, you like your cloves, then I think you need to buy some. 22 December 2008 |

 | Heady crushed bay leaves and cloves. Superbly manly. Definitely reminds me of the holidays. I’d bathe in this. Reminds me faintly of Creed’s Bayrum Vetiver, but of course it would since bay leaves are something one cannot cover up well with any other notes. 05 November 2003 |
