Suprising scent in a cheesy bottle.
The first thing that hits me in Black Jeans Homme is the strong animal note. Is it civet or indoles or perhaps something else, that I do not know, but my nose smells indisputably something clearly animalic.
Soon it gets more vanillic-musky sweet with anis / licorice. Animalic charachter settles down for a bit, but its always there. It eventually follows the lifetime of this fragrance as a lurking undertone, but it never quits, it never gives up.
At the end of the day this smells like it was a dirty, evil and corrupted big brother of Au Masculin.
Don't be fooled by the name, as it is much more formal than i could ever imagine, almost that refined and multilayered as Joint.
