BOD Man: Fresh Blue Musk

I was suprised by Bod Man Blue Musk as well as other Bod Man, and Parfums de Coeur products. I didn't really see how the musk smell could be anything but what it was, but this blue musk showed me that musk can be blue(and probably other colors too). You could almost call this Addidas Musk or something like that. It starts off with a strong sports scent type of smell, and a little bit of musk peeking through, but then it turns into more of a musky smell, but it does keep it's blue going throughout the day. Nice fragrance, and cheap too. It lasts a long time on your skin, but it doesn't project out much.

I was given BOD for Christmas four years back. It was pretty good stuff. The only criticism I have is, the fragrance needs to be balanced out for a longer, but more subtle smell.

It’s fresh, it’s blue, and it’s musky. Except for its strident synthetics, it does smell something like Grandma’s purse, bless her soul. I don’t remember buying it, but there it is on that out of the way shelf in the hall closet. It doesn't hold my interest for very long, and I realize there are a lot of elements in Fresh Blue Musk that I should dislike; nevertheless, I do rather like it...if I’m not exposed to it for long periods of time. There’s no accounting for taste, I guess.

This a good fragrance, but not very masculine and very perfumey. The lavender and floral notes dominate creating a somewhat "old lady" smell.

Its not bad for the price. I think it was about 6 or 7 bucks for an 8 oz bottle. I also have keihls musk. The BOD smells like a much sweeter and cheaper version of it. It starts very spicy and sweet (almost like cotton candy with some spice to it) and dies down after probably twenty minutes to half an hour to just a musky smell.
Its also is not very powdery like other cheap sprays out there such as Axe.
Kids would probably like it as well as the rest of the bod line (I didn't like Really ripped abs that much but I havent smelled it in a while).
