Bonfire (2000)

Reviews of Bonfire ![]() Demeter United StatesShow all reviews | A very delicate woodsmoke scent with a slightly sweet finish. Other reviews note a scent of hotdogs, which I cannot agree with. Aside from hotdogs smelling somewhat smoky, the similarity ends there. The scent is very light, does not leave much of a wake, but lingers on the application site for hours, becoming sweeter with time, with a final scent slightly reminiscent of fabric softener - mild, clean & fairly neutral. 26th September, 2011. |
![]() jpapillon United StatesShow all reviews | Loved the initial smokiness, but the lingering scent of hotdogs was just not attractive -- even to the dog. My honey even asked me to "please stop wearing the mustard perfume". 13rd December, 2008. |
| themeglet United StatesShow all reviews | Anosmia has hit the nail on the head. This is not a scent to wear to any social event (unless it is a wiener roast...) Of the umpteen dozen Demeter decants I've collected, this is the least-sniffed, and certainly not one I would wear. Notes: Smoke, salty charred hot dogs (or any fake meat flavored with artificial smoke flavor), and burning wood. 3rd June, 2006. |
![]() Clayton Abu DhabiShow all reviews | A wood smoke fragrance marred throughout most of its short lifespan by boiled hot dogs. Once the wieners have faded, however, you are left with an attentuated simulation of having just come from standing around the campfire. 26th March, 2006. |
