Whenever I wear Boss Bottled some 50 Cent’s verses go through my head. Namely, couple of people told me that I smell just like a candy shop when I was wearing this scent. My sub consciousness did the rest.
If you’ve tried only 10-20 scents in your life so far you’d might adore this one, but if you’ve tried a lot of scents you’d might just like it… and that’s the whole story about Gray Boss.
There are people that simply don’t want to be spectacular; they just want to be nice, nothing more. There are the scents with the same “intentions”. Boss No. 6 is just one of them… and there is nothing wrong with that if you ask me.

This is my one and only Boss fragrance (I'm considering Pure when the cost goes down) and I'm very impressed. This is very similar to Lacoste Pour Homme, but I find the rum and vanilla in LPH to be too dominant, sweet and cloying.

The sweet apple and bergamot topnotes fade into a nearly perfect balance between vanilla, cedar, and cinnamon. Sweet/Woods/Spice. I can at once detect the individual notes and enjoy the blended collective. A musky base eventually joins the mix as vanilla and cinnamon fade and the cedar becomes more dominant. As others mentioned, there is a warmth to Boss Bottled/6. If this was even a little sweeter I might not be such a fan. The absence of obvious synthetic notes (like LPH) is a plus.

The sillage is decent, as is longevity. Can be found on the cheap ($31 for 50ml).

Thumbs up but barely. The opening is a synthetic blast of apple & bergamot. Smells somewhat overworked & overdone but it gets better. Suprise, clove and cinnamon come to rescue this sad-sack opening. Though the clove/cinnamon are not as epic & grand like Obsession for Men, this accord makes me forget the weak opening. Vanilla & tonka round this out with a touch of wood though it's hard to get a grip on what kind of wood as it's kind of blurry. Still, quite a safe bet for Dieter to wear to his first day at Siemens. Nice but it's Boss so lower thy expectations and proceed cautiously.

Boss Bottled by Hugo Boss is probably the best of Hugo Boss.It is sweet but NOT cloying. Its really classy and masculine. Its quite a deviant from your everyday Hugo scents though somewhere in its brilliant sweet accords the Hugo boss signature stands but much more creatively. It reminds me of Hugo Boss Limited Edition that I used some time back (packed in a grey tin/metal casing).
Go for it you wont regret it!!!!

My first Hugo Boss cologne...

The top notes are very obvious, does not take a BloodHound to figure out it is mostly cinnamon, apple and cedarwood.

THe fragrances intial spray and they dry down only differ in once sense.. The warmth. It is not extraordinary but is a great conseravtive scent. Excellent for office wear or casual daytime wear.

This one is a very good scent. It manage to be both fresh and sweet at the same time. Just like Voleur de Roses - though VDR wins me over any time. Perfect for office and casual use. The only thing I really have a problem with is the popularity. To many people use it. Therfore I rather spend my hardearned cash on VDR instead. Thumbs up though.

I've tried a few Boss frags over the years, but this is without doubt the classiest I've tried.

Sweet and very natural smelling. Quite a trad frag, but smells very special.

Without wishing to sound snobbish, if you own a Boss suit, then you should wear this. If you own Boss jeans and trainers, try Hugo or Motion. One for the classy business function in my view.

Having been accustomed to other Hugo Boss fragrances, I kept looking for the blatant synthetics in this one and I couldn’t find them—I could only suspect them. Pleasant opening—fruity and spicy—neither too strong nor too weak. Solid—its sweetness doesn’t strike me as the overly sickly sweet I’ve encountered in so many modern fragrances; the sweetness here has a warmth and some presence to it. These accords could be a bit more refined, but they are acceptable. After the very nice top notes there doesn’t appear to be any middle notes: On my skin the fragrance seems to go directly from the rather long lasting top notes to the base notes. The base is very woody and quite enjoyable; it retains the fresh spicy warmth of the top and has very good longevity. I really like the fact that I am not obliged to pan this scent. It’s a very nice creation—well made, attractive accords, good longevity, not a clone of anything… Good job! Good scent, Mr. Boss…for once.

Very sweet and woody. A scent that fills a room without being offensive. A little too sweet for me, but a nice mass market scent.

This is a new addition to my collection, which as of now is Mugler-Cologne, YSL - M7 fresh, Davidoff - cool water deep.

I think this hit the sweet spot - not too flowery (mugler), or too woody (YSL - m7 fresh). I think i'm making this my signature cologne.

casual enough to wear to the workplace, and fun enough to wear to a club.

This is terrific. It's what Ultraviolet Man tries to be, but isn't. It has the same sort of sweetness, but here it's balanced by a really nice fruity accord. It lasts a reasonably long time, and has just the right amount of potency.

Can't believe how good this juice is and how come I'd always ignored this - I guess because it's just Hugo Boss.. Had it been a niche frag more people here would have sung odes about this I suppose. The scent is so smooth and silky. Even better that the similar Endymion and has a decent longevity too. Silk in a bottle.

I just acquired this fragrance a few weeks ago. I really like it. Nice sweet heady top notes and sweet spicy drydown with potent sillage.

Now this one's a lot of fun. Possibly better suited for younger people, it's a very fruity-fresh summer fragrance that starts off with a big splash of apple and dries down to a vanillic-lightwooded base. The comparison to Allure is not so far off, take away some of the apple and add a good spoonful of yoghurt, and Boss Bottled becomes Chanel's Allure Homme. I prefer this one.

While I agree that this is a "heavy sweet" scent, its quite nice. Warm vanilla is just so...mmmmm yumm! I know a lot of ladies like vanilla scents on guys so this sould be a hit. Lasts long but I cant smell the woody notes...a good thing IMO

The name is simple, powerful, catchy, the scent is a good interpretation of modernity- very trendy and still very uncompromising, very original, never too predictable or common.
It starts with notes like a tasty cocktail of apple, pineapple and vanilla, but embraces gradually more powdery, woody notes, very spicy and dry, almost camphorous shades of untypically pepped up sandalwood and cedar, with a warm and herbal touch of vetiver.
At first this sensory rush puzzled me and seemed way to modern, but once the notes took on a more masculine and dry touch it became clear that it doesn't lack style and attitude. One minus is the fact that it tends to act a little too dry and warm on my skin, like the scorching heat of a summer in the desert. Still, it makes up in originality and lush masculinity trough its quite unusual, partly fruity, partly vetyver-spiced-woody, splashes of freshness.

I just love this one on him!!! It lasts and lasts and lasts and when he leaves in the morning for work I can still smell him in my arms... and on my drive to work I still can catch a slight whiff of that deliscious scent and... I love it.

This is a pretty good scent. It's fresh and sweet, with a moderate lasting power. My roomate called it "intoxicating", and most people give it a thumbs up.

Fantastic stuff... Perhaps one of the best daytime scents ever, very fresh and hard to get bored with. Definitely not one for fancy evening dinners, but absolutely perfect for the office and casual occasions.

Man, am I glad to find this site! I love hearing what other guys like, and better yet what the hotties like! :)
I give Boss a thumbs up. It reminds me of Christmas for some reason- the apples and spices I guess. Ultimately, you will buy and like what reminds you of nice things. On the guy who said it smelled like cardboard- have you smelled Bulgari Black? That's cardboard in a bottle!

I like the Boss #6 scent, it did take awhile to grow on me at first I found it too sweet like candy. It's like Chanel's Allure for men but more on the sweet notes

I wear this often to work. It maintains a pleasant fruity wood character that's long lasting. I've had some positive feedback from members of the female persuasion on this scent. I wouldn't hesitate to put it on for a romantic night out. Next to Hugo it's my favorite boss fragrance yet.
