Reviews of Brooksfield Men ![]() SirSlarty United StatesShow all reviews | A simple, light, fresh and clean fragrance from the early 90's. Lasted pretty long on me. Otherwise, not much of note. 22nd January, 2012. |
| Darvant ItalyShow all reviews | Appealing combination of citrus-lavender, plum and cedarwood (the main notes). The beginning is classic and a bit astringent with its agreement of citrus, bergamot, green notes and lavender. Passing time the fragrance starts to become at once less dry and spicy with the entering of plum, cardamom, estragon, may be nuttmeg and tasty resins before to slide towards a sort of warm and comforting woodsy outcome colored by dry fruits, amber and sweet spices. The tasty-pungent mildness of plum is absolutely detectable and imprints a touch of melancholy to the juice. This classical italian fragrance while lacking of uniqueness is surely enough distinguished and confident to play its more than dignified role in this olfactory world. 8th August, 2011. | the_good_life GermanyShow all reviews | As the preceding reviews make clear, this is a well-made fragrance, which does not rock the boat and will please any man looking for an all-purpose scent in a lighter style. That said, it is somewhat of a sleeper and far superior to the many watery and cheap smelling designer frags out there. Very much in tune with the casual "Cape Cod weekend" chic of the (Italian) Brooksfield label, this the perfect complement to a relaxed yachting-style or country-house outfit. A pleasant green top, which reminds me a bit of Esper's Millesimé, subtly spicy, tart and just a tad smoky (like black cardamom)in the middle, with the distinct apple note supplying freshness, it ranks above average in quality. Add the nicely designed bottle and the decent price and you have an excellent product worth seeking out. 7th April, 2007. |

![]() Joshaugustt Show all reviews | THIS IS A WONDERFUL UNDISCOVERED SCENT. IT'S UNIQUELY FRESH AND YET VERY WARM AT THE SAME TIME. IT'S THE KIND OF SCENT THAT YOU CAN WEAR ANYWHERE AND ANY TIME OF THE YEAR. THIS IS A REAL FIND. 4th October, 2005. |
