It was probably reformulated years ago so, if it was, I can understand why I don’t like this while others praise it. It’s far too soft and fleeting for me to appreciate, and the cinnamon barely registers whenever I am able to smell it on my skin. I’ve tried to discover the appeal but to no avail. It’s a lame and underwhelming fragrance that must have been watered down at some point by Cacharel. Taking into account that this was released in the ‘80s, there’s a very high possibility it was. Zero points. 10 April 2008

I tried this a couple of times. The opening is divine, but when the nutmeg appears the fun is over. There's simply too much of it. After the nutmeg has disappeared it's all soapy. Very disappointing scent overall. 02 June 2007

The top notes are quiet alluring, but once the green grass-floral opening fades it becomes, to me, simply repulsive. I guess it's because this fragrance (like YSL's and Chanel's) was copied in so many ways, from cheap perfumes going through cheap deodorants and air-freshener, and ending up in soap. In these days, IMHO, these fragrances just don't make it through. Maybe in a decade or two they'll emerge and regain their high reputation. As for now... God, I have to wash that soap off the back of my hand... 05 April 2007

I thought this was going to be a grand fragrance after reading the reviews but I was left dissapointed. It is spicy, but there's no sweetness to balance it out. All I really get is an overpowering nutmeg note. I like nutmeg, but not as the star attraction. It also smothers the floral notes so I don't get a whiff of the carnation, geranium, etc. Lastly, it doesn't last on me at all. 2-3 hours tops. 23 December 2006

I ordered this from France around 1990. It is a good fragrance but a little too feminine for my taste. There is a heavy floral sweetness that I do not find appealing, although the main note is definitely nutmeg. One the right guy, though, this might be smashing. It is still in production although it never made it to Canada. (I don't know about the U.S.A.) 26 November 2002
