I received a bottle of this for Christmas in 1988 when I was a freshman in high school. I had asked instead for Giorgio for men. I got the Giorgio and liked it a lot (still have some of that original bottle left), but fell in love with Camp Beverly Hills. I wore it on my first date ever...roller skating...how 80s is that? I found some vintage stock of the aftershave and cologne on ebay and I snatched up. I would say this is my favorite cologne because of my history with it. I rarely wear it anymore because its been discontinued long ago. When I do, its for a very special occasion or when I really want to feel like a kid again.
On my skin, its light, fresh, young, refreshing. It makes me think of the image on the bottle...of a palm tree with the sunrise or sunset behind it. It smells like a whimsical blend of tropical citrus, ocean breeze, and maybe some sun tan oil
For many, the ultimate 1980s scent for men was Drakkar Noir. I liked it on others, but it wasn't my personality. For me, the ultimate 1980s scent was and is Camp Beverly Hills. Fun and innocence in a bottle.
I got this for Christmas back in 1988. It was a fantastic scent. Why they discontinue scents like this is beyond me. I sure hope they bring this back.
A brief, multifaceted citrus burst of refreshment, quickly degenerates into an obnoxious soapy, leather scent of the low brow macho variety.

Great scent from the 80's; refreshing and casual,
yet suitable for any occasion - perfect for sunny So. Cal weather. Light and clean, but still virile and masculine - not like the girly man fruity scents that are so popular today. This has become pretty difficult to find as of late as it has long been discontinued. Well worth the search
