A fresh citrusy opening that becomes very spicy very fast, to finish in a tobacco/leather heart that I would call more appropiately "birch" than "leather". What I mean is that the leather "note", which is a mixture of several scents, the most prominent in here is the birch note.
The drydown is a very woodsy "leather", the woodiness probably from the vetiver accentuated by the birch note, to finally die in a moss/wood/leather accord that lingers on for quite a while.
Projection is more than adecuate without becoming annoying for the rest and longevity is excellent although the final accord is very close to the skin.
I am not a fan of the Pierre Cardin house, but this one won me over.
