For a while, I avoided Chrome, simply because I thought (wrongly) that this was an intensely metallic scent. To me, it isn't that. There is a fresh, clean element, but what dominates is a spiciness - doubtless interpreted by most people as metallic. To me it is almost herbal quality, reminding me to some degree of Italian seasonings. Sometimes within the spiciness, I detect something else: a damp, almost musty smell that I really don't like. It doesn't grab me often, but I don't like it when it does. Chrome has a measure of complexity and that aspect I admire. It isn't for me, but it merits consdieration.

It's OK. Smells somewhat ordinary. Certainly fresh and lemon/orange. A step up of other fresh fougeres like Brut and Avatar and quite similar to ck One. Inoffensive.

this is nothing but CK One (not truth, as others have mentioned). It is the exact same scent with this difference: Chrome starts out fresher and spicer, it bites your nose a little, then immediately dries down to CK One.

Nice little inoffensive office frag. Decent use of musk in the dry-down after the sharp, citric opening.

I most assuredly won't be clamoring for this frag any time soon, but I can certainly see why some people like it. It doesn't scream "character" and its name is easy to pronounce, thus it plays well with the same crowd that deems Meg Ryan a comic genius and considers "white Zinfandel" a fine wine.

Very fresh smelling! I can definitely smell the 'metal' accord in there. I use this mainly after i work out. A little body spray and a tiny spritz of Chrome and im set! I dont think i would wear this to go out though; way too common and cliche. If i were to pick a 'fresh' smell i would wear either ADG, or Dolce's LBPH.

This is very ordinary. The metallic note is interesting - it reminds me a little of Magnetism by Escada - but mostly what I get is a very pedestrian and synthetic lemon.

I think the Musk topnote sets the tone here. The Hedione is another transparent note, I believe and the fragrance is quite synthetic-heady. I can't take too much of it myself and I think there a few out there who agree.

This is a freshly pressed white shirt of a scent with last season's collar offering nothing memorable. Try it on your feet before putting on your socks - this is a solid little sneaker treater of a scent.

A decent scent; nice and fresh without those synthetic "fresh" notes that are popping up in everything these days. The problem is, it lasts all of five minutes on my skin. After that, I have to put my nose to my wrist just to get the slightest whiff. If it lasted longer on me, I think I'd consider adding this to my wardrobe.

The opening is to my nose EXACTLY the same as that of Benneton Sport. It doesn't take too much time however for this to develop and gain some florals. I can't pinpoint exactly which flower I smell though one in particular does come to mind. Might be a lily or something. Whatever flower it is wears the scent much better than I do. This is just a really OK scent. I can rattle off a whole bunch of scents I'd rather wear than this no matter the occasion, thus it is really not worth the money in my eyes. Check it out though if you want a fresh, youthful scent that would be sporty if it weren't too floral to be sporty. Or just don't, cuz while it doesn't suck it is sort of a waste of time.

Chrome is a pretty good scent, and one that has remained relatively popular in fluctuating fragrance market since its release. While it is pleasant and noted for not being obtrusive, it can be cloying and offensive if overly applied, trust me! Once on a city bus a man had put on way too much of this, and everyone on the bus noticed in a bad way. Sometimes the metallic notes can become too sharp-synthetic, making it hard to wear easily in real confined places. While I like to believe I wear it well, sometimes I smell some type of bazaar "doctor's office accord" of rubbing alcohol and sterilized medical equipment on other people. I reserve it for wearing out in hot weather, but I wouldn't reach for it when going to the office. Easily accessible and reasonably priced, Chrome isn't a bad choice for something fresh and a little different, but make sure it stays in the right hands!

Simple and clean. Synthetic. An 'ok' scent, but not a great one for me. Kind of pleasant and very wearable though.

A bit too youthful for me and it's starting to become too commonly worn but overall not a bad casual scent. I liked the way it smelled on me, but after a couple of hours it disappears. If you want a better aquatic fragrance, then try Hugo's Baldessarini del Mar. I don't have any problem with Chrome and I wouldn't discouraging you from buying it, just be sure to try it first (of course).

I guess this fragrance does get attention, it got my attention when I had to ask my waiter at Red Lobster what he was wearing. When he informed me it was Chrome by Azzaro, I then went out and bought a bottle. It is a fresh and clean scent, not too sweet and not too floral, but a little marine-like too. The staying power is not that great, whereas the staying power of Bijan Wicked for men is much greater and smells almost exactly like Chrome. I think I will make the switch from Chrome to Bijan Wicked!

Chrome is a well-made fragrance, but to me it is a bit overrated. For a fresh fragrance, it certainly lasts a good while. Still there is something a bit adolescent about this fragrance. Good for those wanting something non-offensive, clean, and fresh.
