Good casual wear cologne that is very inoffensive much like a Hugo Boss cologne.

This is the king of sport scents. It has a soapy freshness that is unlike any of the other fresh scents I own. Even though it's a light sport fragrance, I find it very suitable for evening wear. The dew notes really add character. While Acqua Di Gio is perfect for a sunny day at the beach, this one is my first pick for a summer NIGHT on the beach. You really have to go sample this one if you're looking for a fresh clean scent. Sillage and longevity also get my salute.

It stops me at the opening and I’m ready to wash it off immediately, because it has that lavender / citrus / green accord that I have encountered in too many headache inducing scents. This one doesn’t give me a headache, but it does give me flashbacks — same difference. And speaking of flashbacks — there’s definitely a reminder of Eternity in the composition, and Eternity, I’m afraid, is THE fragrance I love to hate. Clairborne Sport certainly isn’t a bad fragrance and, with Clairborne for Men, it is one of the better of the Clairborne male scents, IMHO—but that isn’t saying an awful lot. Just go test it — you might like it — many do.

Well, I was looking for light scents as Azzaro Chrome and CK Crave and after reading a lot of rave reviews about Claiborne Sport, I finally decided to buy it. What can I say? First of all, It's a nice fragrance: subtle, light and fresh.
But Don't expect too much of this one. In my opinion, It's not a compliment getter. Too generic... I think there's something missing here, maybe a sweet note (as in CK Crave), maybe a more citric character (as in Chrome).
It starts really nice, really fresh and It should have kept this smell all the way. Sadly, It vanishes in two minutes and suddenly a "plastic" or maybe synthetic smell appears. It's not an "easy" smell and It takes time to get used to it. Some might not like it, so It's not a so safe scent...
The longevity is not so good, but It's normal when we're talking about fresh/casual fragrances.
After some time, the fresh character is surrounded by a woody dry smell, I think It's due to the cedar.

My father's current favorite (his last favorite was Obsession), because he found it "spicy yet fresh". Initially I can detect a strong sage note softened by other herbs, mainly lavender. I don't really find this to my liking, I would prefer Polo Blue to this any day, mainly because I like either the sweeter light frags or the heavier, musky ambers and tobaccos. Now my brother has found this to his liking and bought a bottle of his own, yet the fragrance brings a herbal collection that doesn't sit well with me. The scent comes off as too sharp (with herbs)to my nose. The drydown is nicer with the woods bringing a softer touch to the herbs until the fragrance wears off, which will be about 6-8 hours. This one will stay with you all day.

I have to say that this is the #1 compliment-getter in my whole arsenal. Clean, fresh, sexy, modern, masculine, long-lasting, and tranquil all are descriptions that apply to this marvelous yet inexpensive offering from Claiborne. It won't develop much and won't knock your socks off but who cares when you smell this good for this long for this cheap. Hoooorahhhh!!

I have mixed feelings about this fragrance. It is certainly not a bad smell. However, it really doesn't impress me a lot. I bought a bottle of this about 6 years ago and I still have it. I wear it from time to time. The lasting power is pretty decent. I suppose I am really not a "sporty scent" person in general so perhaps I am being a bit unfair to it. I guess you could say that in its niche this is a pretty good scent all in all.

Unsung hero of sport fragrances. Clean but not too fruity or watery as the trend has been for a few years now. The drydown and basenotes stay 'green' and fresh.
