In the 90's it wasn't so bad, but today after experiencing over 500 others, this just seems so generic. I have a buddy who wears only this and one other (Nautica), and I can always smell him coming without even looking at him. Should I give the rest of my bottle to him? I see him a couple of times a week, so it's kind of a dilemma. This is one of the worst in my wardrobe, but if I gave it away, I would be subjected to it about 100 times a year. It's not terrible, just boring and generic. 14 November 2007

I can not support this fragrance. It is too strong. Everytime someone wears it I think, "that guy's wearing Curve." And that's not a good thing. It seems to overpower every situation. I had a friend who wore it and a coworker who filled the office with it as it radiated off his skin. It's just too pushy for me. My dad bought it but thankfully he's smart enough to mix it with other fragrances to give it more depth although that hardly helps. The one thing I'll give it (and I'll end up disagreeing with some of you here) is that it's generic. I can't see that because everytime I smell it I know what it is... CURVE just passed me in the park... CURVE just passed me in the hallway... CURVE just passed me on the freeway with its windows rolled up going 65 miles per hour. That said, it's not horrible. Though, I'll give it a thumbs down because if I can't give one to this I can't give one to any of them... 09 May 2007

OK;I am having a hard time with the comments "weaker" and "barely smell." I literally picked up a tiny bottle of this stuff left behind on a bench at my gym at closing time and took it home with me. It is on sale at Sears and I am too snobby to actually buy it. This miasma of a fragrance has to be one of the most Guido, gold-chain and- wifebeater-in-polyester-sans-a-belt fragrances my crippled old nose has ever smelt. Get ye to a men's boutique! Spend more than $10 on a fragrance! As has bee said before, none of the pyramid of notes is truly reflected in this clash of 10 disco fragrances mixed in a latrine. Green, fake, persistent, insincere, un-sexy, camouflage for the human spirit. 09 November 2006

Let me start by saying that contrary to other claims, Curve smells nothing like Green Irish Tweed. So dont let that stop you from trying the Creed classic. Now onto the review... Curve is contained in a bottle which looks like it was designed by Krusty the Clown. Not a good sign. The top notes are pleasant enough - citrus and green. They fade pretty fast, and the middle notes bring out a herbal accord. The base is barely perceptible. Curve is nowhere near as rich as the notes pyramid makes it to be. It also has a persistent very perfumey quality to it. Longevity is very poor and sillage even more so. From the disaster of a bottle to the very generic composition and poor longevity, Curve is best left on the store shelves. There are many better fragrances that can be had for a similar or slightly higher price (ex: Caron Pour Un Homme, Acqua Di Gio, YSL Body Kouros, The Dreamer, Iceberg Twice, amongst others). 12 October 2006

I own a bottle of this stuff and only wear it because I wasted money on it for some reason and other people like it. Very synthetic and DRY smelling. Gives me a headache sometimes. I can't believe this stuff is so popular! 24 April 2006

Light, sweet, fruity, citrusy, a little floral, some evergreen, a little spicy, a lot synthetic, and typical Liz Claiborne quality. Thumbs down. 11 January 2006

Very generic...kind of a faux sporty scent...reminds me of how your gym clothes smelled on a friday afternoon...kind of sweaty, but saturated with some kind of cheap drugstore deoderant, and youthful green smelling cologne...deffinately not wearable by somebody over the age of 20...it is just fine for a HS football player or somehting, but will deffiantely smell strange on anybody other than an adolescent jock... 27 December 2005

Liz Claiborne has produced some nasty and very unsophisticated scents and this one is no exception. I would recommend this scent only for those age 14 and under. It lasts about one hour and is of poor quality, as are most other fragrances by Liz Claiborne. Many Liz customers have gone to spraying their clothes to make the scents last more than an hour, so one can only imagine how cheap the quality actually is. I'm in the business of selling fragrance, and believe me when I say that oil content is everything in terms of staying power and in terms of uniqueness. I'm not even sure there's a drop of oil in Curve. Again, for men, Liz makes sure to use the poorest quality ingredients, and she should likewise be avoided like the plague. 09 December 2004
