Normally, I tend to like the luxurious things in life. I wear the top designers for suits, seven fold ties and make sure that I am always keeping up with the most current styles from Milan and Napoli. I only say this because I am about to admit that $20 a bottle Curve cologne is my 'go to scent'. Believe me ... I don't want it to be. It doesn't smell like an expensive cologne. It smells like you'd expect a college kid to be wearing it. A college kid surrounded by beautiful girls.

You won't find a better bargain for your money. This has among the best dry down scents I've ever experienced. I would not like it as much if it smelled like it did right out of the bottle. The best way I could describe the change in scent from spray on to dry down is ... on first spray it smells like an alarm clock radio. After about an hour of wearing this, it smells like a Bose Wave Radio. It gets a very rich mossy smell when it dries down.

You can pick out moss and citrus notes. There is a juniper note as well. This has incredible staying power. Every single girl I've talked to either has an ex who wore this ... or is my ex who forces her boyfriend to buy it because I wore it. Women simply like the way this smells on a man. It is a confident man's cologne. There is nothing luxurious about it. There is everything effective about it.

Believe me ... as someone who has Creed and all the other expensive colognes in their cologne collection ... I am not wearing this because I have to. I wear it because its like the fast ball high and inside that I know I can always go to in order to get me out of a jam. This is the derringer in your boot when you are in a rough part of town. And other than another cheap cologne, Abercrombie Fierce, I've never got more compliments about a cologne as I do this. (Which is slightly depressing considering I could buy about 15 bottles of this with the money I spend on one bottle of Creed.)

A little goes a long way and this smells different on everyone who tries it. This should be called "Chemistry' instead of 'Curve' because each person wears it differently. I like this though because you could be out in a group of people and three people can be wearing Curve and after the dry down, you'd never know they were wearing the same cologne. Its played out ... maybe ... and a lot of people have it. But thats because it works. For some reason, every rating I leave comes out as neutral but this would get thumbs up. (Stay away from the other versions of Curve. This one is the only one worth buying.)

If you wanna be unique this definitely isn't for you. I personally like wearing popular brands because people spot it and spark conversation but not everyone does. I tried some of this from a friends bottle and loved it. I have been wearing it as an everyday fragrance for about half a year now. I am starting to get bored with it. The only problem with it is to me it has an alcohal smell in the background that just sticks to my nose and blocks out all the pleasant notes. Like I said if you want to be original don't buy this because everyone and his brother wears this but if you just want to smell darn good (many compliments from the ladies) then get it.

This is going to sound odd: my boss wears this. He's a 60-year old with a dry sense of humor and is very straightforward with everything. Then, for a few months, I noticed his cologne had changed. It was very strong but not annoying. He wasn't "that guy" in the office that reeked. I found the cologne to be very enjoyable and I would always smell it when he walked by me. To start a conversation I asked,

"I've been meaning to ask but what cologne are you wearing? Is it Stetson?" The Stetson comment was a shot in the dark just to break the ice.

"No, I used to wear that stuff. It doesn't work on me anymore. I wear Curve now."

"What? Really?" I was shocked!

"Yeah, apparently it's all body chemistry and so-on. I know was probably targeted for young people to wear but it's really good on me." This was weird to hear from him, seeing how I'm the perfume junkie!

"I agree. It's really good. And I'm not just giving you a compliment and brown-nosing. It really is good on you." I couldn't say anything but that.

And lo' and behold, this stuff works awesomely on me. It's strong. One spritz and I'm all set all day. Smelling it on me takes me back to when it first came out. My brother wore it. It didn't do so well on him but he wore it. It was a dead fruit on him.

And that's my story.

As popular as this cologne seems to be...I had never smelled it until recently...I've never known anyone to wear this. I picked up a small bottle and I enjoy the smell. After reading about it's popularity I expected to get "hey, are you wearing curve?" But I've only gotten compliments and been questioned on what I'm wearing. There are many better colognes out there, but it's still nice! Even if it was as common around here as it seems to be everywhere else I would still wear it once in a while, as girls do seem to enjoy the smell...and so do I...and that is all that matters in the end!

I really love this one. Some Mens colognes are so sharp and piney that they make me sick. I think its a softer mens fragrance that you can wear during the day or evening. Well, thats the nice thing about fragrance, on some people its not good, & on others it is. My son always wore this and it mixed well with his chemistry.

Sweet, tangy, and citrusy.
Curve is definitely something made for the younger crowds, though this shouldn't dissuade you from trying it. My only problem is that for the first hour or so, smelling it up close can really attack your nose. The drydown, however, is very sweet and attractive. Go for it if you're within the younger age bracket or are just looking for something fun and lively.

I didnt initially like this one because I could barely smell it.It seemed to be a bunch of alcohol. Also, everyone in Polk County wears this.Once I got into green scents I guess I appreciated it.Also, I guess my nose became more acute to various notes due to all my sniffing. It is "green", but theres some other notes in it, but none dominate to me.I think it is blended well.I dont think there is much oil in it.It doesnt last long.It is airy and I guess thats why people notice it.For the reason I mentioned earlier, I dont wear this much.Women know it when they smell it. I prefer a little more mystery.

Curve for Men reminds me mostly of Eternity for Men by Calvin Klein, but also of Davidoff's Good Life for Men. Curve is weaker than either of those probably because, according to the bottle, it is cologne strength, not eau de toilette. The price is low enough to make up the difference, however, and this scent's target audience might be better off with a lower concentration anyhow.

On another note (pun intended), I detect geranium which isn't in the pyramid as of this writing.

Mossy smell, long lasting. At first it can be "hard" on sensitive noses, but it warms up after. The price is extremely economical for everyday use.

I bought a 2.5 oz. bottle for around $25. OK deal I guess. I use Curve as an anytime cologne. And im not shy with it. Meaning im not worried about conserving it.
Curve makes an excellent summer cologne in my opinion. Since its light, although has good staying power on my skin. Just not very potent like I like my colognes.
Curve would be a great gift if you can't decide what to get. For people 25 and under.

This fragrance is one with wide appeal. I wouldn't classify it as a unisex fragrance, but I know just as many women as men who wear this. It's extremely popular, and for good reason. Its woody, ambery drydown is simply devine. You'll forget you're wearing a "cheap" fragrance :). I'd recommend it for casual/office wear. This fragrance is available wherever Liz fragrances are sold. And, like other LC offerings, the prices are very reasonable. This is a must-have in everyone's wardrobe!

I am really struck by how similar Curve smells to Creed's Green Irish Tweed! This has been mentioned before but i was a bit sceptical because i kept thinking, how can a mass marketed scent smell so similar to a legendary Creed! I've gotten into collecting Creed recently and the association just simply refuses to connect for me. My first impression was that GIT and Curve are very similar, definitely in the same family. Upon closer inspection/testing i've found:

Curve lacks the projection ability of GIT. I sprayed 2 spritz of Curve on my chest and 2 on each wrist, put on my clothes and went out to do some shopping. Nothing! I barely got a drift of scent from my wrists but nothing emanated from my clothes. The "Caron 3rd Man" effect just wasn't there! Last night i tried the same thing with GIT. Frankly, i expected a resounding success and i wasn't disappointed. Some Creeds may have longevity issues on some people, but none i've tried have had problems with producing sillage IMO. I went out last night to an all-night cafe wearing just two spritz of GIT on my chest and it was pumping out plumes of GIT notes throughout. My pals noticed it, their girlfriends noticed it even more!

So, the question now is: Is GIT a more potent/concentrated Curve or is Curve the poor man's GIT? While GIT has a citric topnote that turns green rapidly, Curve goes straight to the point of being green with a slightly vanillic base that mimics the sandalwood + ambergris base of GIT. Upon application, Curve immediately expands its notes, like a Chinaman spreading his wares on the sidewalk of Chinatown, while GIT (and most Creeds) prefers to keep things strictly regimented. You get one dominant note, it subsides and you get another and another and so on, like buying jewellery. You could say that GIT does it with style and panache while Curve exudes youthful exuberance and brashful energy. Being exuberant, Curve also tires itself out faster and doesn't last as long as GIT, spritz vs spritz. GIT takes its time, nice and slow, playing out a mellow soulful tune before hitting the basenotes. I think this is the attraction for the opposite sex. GIT promises a prolonged engagement of a pleasurable encounter. Afterall, why does GIT attract men of substance like Clint Eastwood and Robert Redford? Like attracts like IMO.

The problem now is: With the availability of Curve, is GIT worth it? Tough one to answer. I have both and can see situational applications for them but i came by both by "accident". I had to try out the legendary Creed in my lifetime (Eastwood and Redford being two of my fav actors of all time) and the Curve is a rare scent in my country, hard to come by plus nothing in the mainstream smells quite like these two. In terms of situational use, yes i believe they have a particular niche area, i'd use Curve for a day outing exclusively, while GIT for evening wear and more serious stuff where i want to feel special and confident and flirt. But what adds fuel to the fire is the price and questions of value that will inevitably cross the minds of discerning buyers with limited budgets for scents. I will go out on the limb here and say go for the GIT over the Curve. Narrow the price gap by buying from Ebay or do what i did, swap with a basenoter of excellent repute (cool from Poland in my case). I will not go into the debate of "buying retail for peace of mind" because i think you can spot a fake Creed a mile away, the Creed note being the first thing you look for unless it's a vintage line. But if you already have Curve, and think it's the beez kneez, finish that bottle unless like me, you want to explore the significance of GIT.

The only time I was blown away by response to a cologne was with this stuff. My cousin had some with him recently so I put some on. An hour later I bump into two 19 year old girls--I hardly knew them and you would have thought I was a pro ball player the way they were on me. Yes I am a good looking guy but this mist unlocks some primal mechanism that usually takes a long time to reach.
Now I just need to see how it works on the 20-somethings. Thanks Liz!

Curve is a nice scent. I recommend it for casual wear or even office wear. It lasts long enough. Next to Spark this is the best Claiborne has to offer. Just my opinion of course.

When I was waiting on a friend of mine before heading out one night, I saw the bottle on his dresser and I sprayed some in the air and I absolutely loved it! I went out and got some and received compliments on it just about everyday. It's light enough for everyday wear and just as good for those of us who wear 'business attire.'

Curve smells great other than that every other guy wears it. I wore it when it first came out but won't wear it again until the fever calms down.

I first smelled 'Curve' on a co-worker about three years ago and I too had to have some. I love the way it smells. I dress business casual to work and many times I'll wear my shirts two days before I throw them down the chute. I smell 'Curve' in my closet, in my bathroom, even in the basement (in the laundry basket) I can always detect that distinctive note. 'Curve' smells good on me (and to me) and I know it does 'cause I get compliments and comments by both male and female.
I always know when I wear 'Curve' folks will tell me all day how good I smell. After all, isn't that what we want? Don't we want to turn people on with our fragrance? Sure we do. Are you sure it doesn't have some pheromones in it? Whenever I smell it, it kinda makes me want to...well, let's say it works. Strange though, even though it is very popular, I don't smell it too often. I'll always wear 'Curve' (even though I love'Vetiver' by Guerlain and 'Black Jeans' by Versace). When I get out of the shower, I use the massage oil all over (I have dry skin), then I use the deodorant on all heavy perspiration areas (it makes your stuff smell good);^) and finally I spray cologne on my neck, behind my ears, and around my hairline. By that time I am reeking (that's right!) and smellin' damn good.
