| I wore this several years ago and then stopped. Put it on again the other day and forgot how loud it could be. It's so syrupy sweet in the beginning but the drydown is pleasant enough. Wouldn't wear every day but from time to time. In 2002 it was over over used. Now that you don't smell it quite as much maybe I'll take it out again. 04 May 2008 |
 | This smells like a bowl of fresh fruit. Reminds me of fruit loops and fruity pebbles. I've gotten a few comments by the ladies, I like it on me. I will finish my 3.4 oz bottle, I dunno if I will buy it again. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but lately I am hooked on sexual by germain and angel men. | This is very much a love it or hate it fragrance. It's true that it is intense sweetness when first applied, but like most will tell you, it's all about the drydown. Has a really good vanilla/musk combo that's not too fem. This is great for people who like frags like A-Men but don't want to have something every other guy owns. The only issue for me is the jury is still out on sillage. I seem to get about 3 hours out of this one. Layering with shower gel or using almond oil might be the answer. 29 April 2007 |

| Very nice apple/lime opening and drys down on my skin to a pleasant vanilla-tinted musk. I also seem to keep just a hint of the opening scents for quite a while, making this quite a unique scent for me. I don't use more than a couple of sprays but it seems to last almost the whole day. The first time I wore it out my wife said "mmm ... fruity" and since then she's told me she really likes it. I'm glad she likes it because I've found that I'm wearing it just for me, because *I* like it :) 20 April 2007 |

| Apples and Limes and Roses and a hint of vanilla that really picks up in the end. I don't really get that synthetic feel as all of these fragrances appear in nature, it is a lot going on at once and because of that your nose doesn't really know what to do.  | I don't understand the negative reviews for this, but I guess it is a love it or hate it kinda frag. I love it, it is a less cloying version of Joop, and since I can't stand Joop, this is a perfect. Desire Blue is equally as excellent. Smells the same but Blue and not Red somehow. | I couldnt stop smelling this after my initiall whiff.It was so strange and different to me.The handsome bottle was a bonus.I envisioned it on my dresser.I had to have it.This is probably the fragrance that made the greatest initial impact on me.Then again, I was a rookie at that time. It didnt smell sweet.It was kinda funky.Now, it is still one of my top guns,although it is sweeter now.I never did detect the apples.It does last well and I get good compliments. I think the name is very fitting. 03 August 2006 |

  | Ahh that Desire! I just love this fragrance. Very seductive, very sexy very alluring. So I guess I am at odds with just about all the other posters on this one. | Its hard to define this one. At first I thought it was Joop rebottled, it smacks you with a fruity (well, rosey/vanilla) smell, that seems to linger after first contact with air. But as it settles, and gets to work on your skin, you begin to notice subtle oriental shifts. But where Joop lacks freshness, Dunhill Desire maintains a bit of 'still fresh in the morning' scent. "Its Fruity with a hint of Spicey Freshness" - is the best definition I can give it. Not sure if everyone will like it, one to buy after a Sampler methinks. 20 December 2002 |

| When I first sprayed this on, it was cloyingly sweet, and I walked out of the store, thankful I didn't purchase a bottle. I drove around, running errands, and near the end of the day I got back into the car, and was enveloped in a delightful musky scent. I guess it had a chance to dry down a bit, and the candy-like sweetness was replaced with an almost oriental scent. I decided to run one more errand back to the mall and picked up that bottle after all. 26 November 2002 |
