Reviews of Ginger Ale| cjkamm United StatesShow all reviews | My husband and I both love this ginger ale scent. It is one scent that I believe is truely unisex. I'm not quite sure if it reminds me of a true ginger ale. It has a fresh bubbly quality but something about it has a very distinguished old fashioned scent too. Anyway when ever we come across it we buy a bottle since ginger ale always seems to be the one sold out. 15th July, 2009. |
| silverdog United KingdomShow all reviews | Unquestionably one of Demeter's very best. Unlike the rest of my fragrances, I keep my Demeter collection in the toilet. I love it when visitors emerge exclaiming that they've been transported by the smell of Thunderstorm or laughing that they've covered the smell of flatulence by turning my WC into a Funeral Parlour. But Gingerale is one of the few Demeter scents that's allowed a place in my fragrance 'wardrobe'. 16th November, 2008. |
| scentsitivity United StatesShow all reviews | The opening is a bit more intense and dense than ginger ale (or ginger beer for that matter), but it settles to a fairly decent representation of ginger ale. A tad musty though. I would be more refreshed drinking ginger ale than by wearing this scent. 14th June, 2008. |

It has a nice lasting power, usually I can still notice a fresh soda-ginger scent while others around you probably won't notice unless they are in really close proximity. Clean, tangy, and sweet without feeling too sugary, this is in my opinion one of Demeter's best. 12nd April, 2008. |
| foetidus United StatesShow all reviews | Before I tried this, I knew enough about Demeter fragrances to be pretty sure that this would smell like ginger ale, and it does. What I didn’t expect was that they could capture the fizz. Yes, this smells like ginger ale and seems as fizzy as a freshly opened bottle of the real thing. As far as wearing it, I would if it were for a joke or for a costume party, but I don’t think it would make a good personal fragrance for me – I’d have to be much younger than I am to wear it as a daily fragrance. Gingerale makes a good room spray, though. It’s a fun thing. 14th March, 2008. |
![]() Clayton Abu DhabiShow all reviews | Effervescent ginger & citrus for the first several minutes, then it deepens and picks up a pepperiness that is more Jamaican ginger beer than ginger ale. Unfortunately, the tale end flattens out considerably, leaving you with a synthetic sweetness that is a let down after the glittering first act. Pleasant enough, and far more successful than many of Demeter's beverage-inspired attempts. 29th April, 2006. |
