Green Jeans (1996)

Yuck! My Dad had this 10 years, no good memories from this scent. Smells like Pine-Sol and gasoline. Shame because I enjoy Versace's other fragrances.

I wish the reviewers who said this was too strong for them told us how many sprays they used, because I used one full spray just above the shirt line and it was a bit too weak (and I'm quite sensitive to strong fragrances and usually only spray once or twice, no matter which fragrance it is). Anyway, this is not "synthetic" or "rough" or "loud" (like Pino Silvestre). It's a very nice blend. I get a lot of the oregano, but because of the blending it smells great (not like pizza sitting next to a cheap pine scented air freshener). It's great for when you want an aromatic herbal experience, and it has an important place in my large rotation. After swapping off my bottle of Pino Silvestre, I was looking for something to replace it and surpass it, and fortunately I was able to obtain a bottle of this at a very reasonable price.

My heart was broken when I found out this was discontinued. I absolutely love this little pine-herbal gem of a fragrance. This is the fragrance that serves as my transition scent from Blue Jeans in the summer. IMO, this is an awesome fall scent and serves it purpose beautifully as the transition scent into Black Jeans (another great discontinued gem) in the winter. Black Jeans then serves its purpose into as a transition to Baby Blue Jeans in spring.

See, there is a method to my madness . . .

The accords in this are amoung the best out there (for a pine laden scent). It is defiantly different and one that will be in my collection forever (I bought enough of it to last my entire life). I can not say that about alot of scents, but this one, to me, is that good.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I felt this was a very comfortable pine scent,I especially like the warm notes , and the

transitions to the basenotes were very pleasant.

I have a little left and am sorry to see it has been discontinued.

Fresh minty herbal with pine woods. Not my favorite accords.

SHAME ON THIS FRAGRANCE! A HOT MESS!
