Index Tobacco Caramel (1999)

Bought blind on EvilBay, and am pleased, though not overwhelmed with joy. The caramel does have a bit of a synthetic twang to it, but overall I feel like I've fallen into the inner pocket of some university professor's tweed jacket, with the pipe tobacco pouch and a butterscotch candy. Soft, comfortable and quite nice.

Tobacco Caramel notes:
Top notes: Tobacco flowers, mandarine, and French tarragon
Middle notes: Honey, Damascus rose, and Chinese osmanthus
Base notes: Caramel, rich amber, and musc.

yuk. thankfully this was a gift so I didn't have pay to smell this synthetic headache inducing....stuff. Tried to pass it along--no one wants it.

What kind of sorcery could create such an awful fragrance? If I hadn’t smelled this myself, I would have had no idea man was capable of such atrocities. This smells so fake, and so gross. A gross sweetness with a tobacco note that resembles polyester. I swapped this with a great basenotes member and he thought it was one of the most foul fragrances he had ever come across. Synthetic and fake to the extreme.

Supereb "luscious" fragrance. Quite subtle and very longlasting. Kinda has this "moist cake" feel to it. Very different yet still very easy to wear. Highly recomended!
