L'Eau par Kenzo pour Homme by Kenzo - Initially, one is treated to a biting and sparkling blast of yuzo, somewhere between a grapefruit and a mandarin orange, with its lemon-like tangy and floral aspects. This sharp and bright citrus slowly pairs with ho leaf, which tinges the pseudo-lemon with its spicy and sweet, floral and rosewood overtones, yielding an almost lemon, furniture polish accord, morphing the stark citrus into a luscious smoothness. The refreshing, watery middle beckons. Here, in the heart, the pseudo-lemon is immersed in a bath of lotus flower, with its lovely, water lily greenness with a hint of mint, sharp and fresh ozone notes, as well as refreshful aquatic notes, with its faint, marine and mint accord, and steeps into a soothing lemonade. Pleasant white musk usurps the cool blend into the awaiting base, imparting its sweet and floral facets, and its cohort, green pepper, adds a kiss of earthiness before meandering to the light and airy drydown. A wonderful fragrance to be turned to in the heat of the summer, this fresh and crisp composition is a vibrant, green, lemony and woody scent, and has average longevity and projection. In the sweaty dog days of the summer, you need this!

This one is not my cup of tea, I guess. It just smells like bathroom cleaner on my skin... Not hideous cleaner to be sure, but why do I want to smell like *that*? Superb staying power and is relatively potent for this kind of scent, so for those who do enjoy it my recommendation is go easy on the trigger.

I've come to love this fragrance as an alternative to the popular summer hot weather scents. The Kenzo brand isn't familiar to everyone, so this might be a hidden gem, a sleeper hit, or whatever cliche you prefer.

The initial scent was nothing special, but the dry-down is intoxicating and watery. I almost feel like I am smelling pond water. I know that probably sounds disgusting, but I am fascinated by it. Floral notes make up the garden around the stagnant pond, including lotus and a unique lemon peel essence that is nothing like the ubiquitous cheap lemon cleaner smell.

The longevity is average and sillage is moderately weak. People will have to go in for a full embrace to get the full scent of you. I actually prefer these qualities in a frag used in hot weather and casual situations.

Nothing to add to the other reviews, at the opening it's lemonated and a bit energizing by mint note, than goes down smooth and musky without loosing the citrusy temperament. The lemon is not acid or harsh but fluid and delicate, though fresh, as an oriental kind of lemonated and spicy tea. The scent is aquatic but in an oriental way. The synthetic kind of invigorating tea is mentholated and medially sweet because of some floral aquatic note. Longevity is in the average. A bit modest.

I prefer this baby after Energise or Clear Day. Not many people wear this anymore, I guess. Fresh and soft.

this was the last fragrance i bought pre internet forums. it's a lemony/ chlorine like aquatic. very zoolander mer-man IMO. anyways the selling point for me was that the SA told me it mixed well with sweat. back then stuff like cool water stunk after you sprayed on some juice post gym class. it ended up with the whole room smelling like stinky cool water also due to the number of students owning a bottle. this still smells great today despite being taught to hate on these types of fragrances. it is still unique IMO as i cannot find it's grown up equivalent despite being able to do so for other fragrances.
