   |  I was a little harsh on this one at first. I was expecting it to smell something like a clean fresh air dryed white cotton jumper, it didn't so i cursed it and put it back in the box, then something magical happened....I engaged my brain and realised that it did smell exactly like a laundromat ! the hot steam iron, the aroma of warm rubber from a busy dryer, hot water, detergent and drying fabric, i finally got it and i really enjoyed it, the scent lasts longer when sprayed on fabric as i do on my bed linen.20 January 2009 |
   | It’s missing lint. Lint is one of the smells I often smell in laudromats, cotton lint, fabric softener, soap, warmth from the dryers, and a slight aquatic feel from the water. Demeter’s Laundromat gets the fabric softener and soap and it even gets the water (a bit of ozonics) and a little of the warmth from the clothes dryer. It’s a very good scent – a clean scent and an enjoyable and comfortable wear. It’s also a Demeter’s scent, which means that it could last longer. 22 August 2008 |
 | Very unobtrusive, and I mean that as a good thing. It's perfect for work or interviews because it hardly smells like a perfume, just like you are incredibly fresh and clean. It is, however, slightly more personal and "fragrancey" than just rubbing laundry sheets on yourself. 14 November 2007 |
 | This is one of the nicest smelling PMUs I've come across. It's pleasantly fresh, remarkably reminiscent of Snuggle. Demeter somehow managed to balance a light airy note with a deeper, soapy base. It's also one of the few PMUs with a degree of lasting power-- moreso on your clothes than on your skin. In fact, this particular PMU lasts longer on my clothes than any other more expensive perfume (the one exception being Demeter's Linden). I like it, and will definitely buy it again in the future. 03 June 2006 |
 | Again Demeter delivers a fragrance up to his namesake. This is like a poor man's Tommy T. It makes me want to go grab a handful of quarters and go put some stuff in the dryer. One of the longer lasting in Demeter's catalog. 27 March 2003 |
