Proof that hell begins on earth. A "presentational" approach to scent for those who like their notes in big print before they go into the blender: clumsy fruit, clumsy vanilla, and clumsy spice at the grave site. For those who believe queasy equals sexy. 07 August 2009

That weird, cloying, disgusting egyptian brothel / embalming fluid others have mentioned? Close to the cloyingly sweet aspects that make Musc Ravegeur what it is. That becomes far more evident in the dry down, where you will get some very similar notes to Must Ravageur's vanilla. It isn't as cloying, it doesn't last as long, and it is quite weird, but it's worth a try for it's originality. You need to be open minded for this one because it is true that it is weird at first. But I think it's the type to learn to like. Also, I disagree that it is simple, I think it has evolved a lot over the last couple of hours on me. 05 February 2009

I find this very close to Minotaur and Zino in its opening...sweet floral with a horse barn like stench...very promising...but it quickly reveals its lack of quality...there is very little depth, just an overal sweetness and some weak dark notes. Good for a quick event or dinner, certainly not for an all day affair. Not bad for the price as this is dirt cheap. 30 December 2008

Spicy and resinous, a clashing combination that is a tad stomach turning. Not particularly enamoring or nice. 23 October 2008

Excellently blended ambery herbal fragrance. I think I detect some rosewood and vanilla, but because it's so blended it may just seem like that to me. There's also a mild, subtle sweetness to it. Don't overspray this one, or else it will likely ruin it for you. And if you like clearly defined notes in your fragrances, this might not be for you either. Another ambery herbal is Jovan Sex Appeal for men, but I'd rate Mesmerize much, much higher than that one, because of the sweetness, nicer mix of ingredients, and lack of a "synthetic" quality. 17 July 2008

I wanted to love this, but it just gave me a headache. Upon re-sniffing 2 weeks later, I decided I did not like it at all. Too sweet at the beginning. Too fruity. Finishes up smelling exactly like ancient Egyptian enbalming preparations. I guess its the Myrrh, and the sweet note working together. People have equated this with Obsession. They are wrong. Enough said, cheerio! 19 May 2008
