I'm constantly complimented on how I smell when wearing Monsieur Musk. Can be a bit overpowering if too much is used. The ladies love it. Hey and it's cheap too.

Green and fresh with a clean edgy musk.
The musk is subtle but adds a distinct edgy note ..

Cheap yes,but comfortable.A little goes a long way.

Simply superb.

Today, a long time friend of mine,perfume nutty case,told me,that is unfair to keep good things for me.

Oh, I forgot, it was my first splash of this elixir ever.

Not being the kind of selfish guy.I told him that I bought it or some measly 14 Euros
and that it was a giant 240 ml bottle.
I think he is going to order one soon.

One thing is for sure.I won't describe my opinion about the chemistry of this Musk on my skin.After all,it is different on me, and my type might be, one in a million(sic),so it is worthless to say this and that.
Go out and find it .On the self of a mystic perfumery shop,in the chaos of a drugstore
or in the bins of a closeout ,everything must go, boutique.Try it, and if it tickles your fancy buy it.

What if it is dirty cheap.Price does not equal value.
What if Dana was about to set a $ 60 price tag to it?

Certainly one of the more pleasant budget scents - clean, green, fresh and somewhat soapy. But, on initial application, hovering around the edges of these pleasant impressions and somehow interfused with them, there is a rather cheap chemical hairspray element which detracts from the whole effect. As the scent settles on the skin (and it is quite long-lasting), the chemical hairspray element fortunately seems to retreat and you are left with a well-crafted, well-balanced fragrance.
I agree with other reviewers that the musk is not very much to the fore, although it is there. I would place Monsieur Musk in the top rank of budget scents, along with Tabac Original, Puig's Agua Lavanda, Acqua di Selva, Victor's Fresco, Blue Stratos and Dana's English Leather.

Potent stuff, this. Used to wear it in high school. Am indifferent to it for myself now, but can understand why people would like it, esp. if budget were an issue. Love it or hate it, just go easy on it, else you'll smell like an overaged gigolo in Boise.

Oh man is this stuff bad!!! As Coty Musk is hard to find, I was looking forward to this one as I read many god reviews. Instead I felt nausea the moment I opened the box. I don't think I have ever have had such a bad reaction to a fragarance before. Perhaps Dana has changed the formula since the past reviews. Please don't buy this stuff, especially if you are going to be near me!!!!

I can’t say enough positives about Monsieur Musk. It is one of my favorite scents. The scent is a really nice clean synthetic herbal. Its scent reminds me a bit of Aramis and Dial soap. Monsieur Musk is extremely long lasting and doesn’t change for the worse after a few hours.

Nice fragrance! Smells fresh and elegant! I noticed some citric notes combined with wood but where is the musk?
For me Musk smells sweet and a little dry...Is my nose out of order???

Man it doesnt cost that much for an investment such as this. I have a buddy who i was schooling on all the up to date stuff and he took me back to this.A HIDDEN GEM ! Dont let the ugly bottle fool you . MANY COMPLIMENTS.

A very cheap cologne...I mean it is very inexpensive. Yet I get inquiries and compliments when I wear this cologne. I like it. Perhaps it's not as refined or expensive as others might want but I use it periodically to mix it up. Very geen in the initial impression. I like it alot.
