Green grass, green leaves, metal, and a hint of roses. A friend of mind gave it a try and loved it so much she went out and bought a bottle! I don't love it as much as Demeter's Ocean, Holy Smoke, or Stable... but it's up there. The longevity, however, is the pits. It only lasts about 20 minutes on me.

First application: very very sweet roses, like candied sugar roses - no note of a pair of pruning shears which to me smell cold and metallic, with a hint of soil.

Dry Down: becomes deep and heavily steeped in rose oil which reminds me of the perfume JOY with more of a candied note.

Opinion: I own a Greenhouse and of course many pruning shears and this smells nothing like the cutters. It is, however, a wonderful alternative to spending a fortune on JOY Perfume which I also own! In the dry down there is a hint of wet green grass - which I love. Heady! Worth the buck for the bang. One of the more lasting fragrances Demeter puts out.
