Previous reviewers have pretty much summed up Santos Concentree. This juice smells Zino-esque to me.........and I like it.

Swapped for a bottle of this blind based on reviews and it didn't disappoint. I only wish it had better longevity, since on my skin its shelf life is only average. I expect a little longer than that from a concentree version, but it's all good.

This will work well in cool to cold temps. Big thumbs up for Cartier on this one.

I owned this one not long after it's release. I loved it. Truly loved it!!!! This is what a fragrance should smell like. I loved both of them. I was in 9th grade when I had this one. It was a hand me down though. I do plan to buy it again.

I don't know about the regular Santos, but this one holds its own. Masculine, but not as in your face as other 80's power scents, Santos Concentree is a close, deep, woody fragrance that to me is better than Antaeus, Kouros, Obsession, Fahrenheit, nearly as good as Bel Ami (but not quite). Unfortunately for me, this didn't last the night, four hours max on my skin. A thumbs up for the scent, but I wouldn't buy this due to the lack of staying power.

I tried both the regular and concentrée versions of Santos. Counter-intuitively, I find that I don’t like the regular but can appreciate the concentrée. That is because of the role of patchouli and how it is treated in each version. Here, the patchouli does not dominate. It is handled with restraint. Now, what we have certainly is an old-school powerhouse chypre: it is big, smoky, leathery, full of dark notes and rich spices. It is in the Jules or VC&A mode. It is what it is, no apologies. Today we might apply this in micro-doses, out of consideration for the changing scentsibilities of our time. We want to be suave but not not obnoxious! Too much conjures an image of gold chains and a shirt unbuttoned to the navel. This is a well-done scent. It is not my go-to style, but it is worth checking out.

Downright legendary scent. In my top five of all time, 80's classic scent here, that lasts all day and smells like a real man. John Wayne style here fellas. A spicy treat.

Very spicy and dark is this extremely masculine fragrance.

I don't think the nutmeg and cumin are as dominant in the Concentree as they are in the original Santos, but they're definitely there. This is an "in your face" type fragrance which seems common from those of that era (80s).

I use it all year round in nearly any type of setting; very versatile. Not one of my longer lasting fragrances but I get above average longevity out of it (~10hrs).

Defintely reccomended, not as easy to find as one may like, but I've found it at high end department stores (and of course online).

This has been my No:1 companion since 1984 and is truly the most manly, rich and sensual scent for men ever created. When wearing this scent you will never feel unconfident with the ladies...maybe vice versa...the scent make you feel overconfident, because it truly makes you feel like a million dollars...

A very deep, rich, masculine fragrance, dominated by cedar, cumin and nutmeg but with enough spice/herb/floral highlights to keep it interesting. The fragrance is on the dry side but not too dry, striking a very good balance. I see it as a very good day fragrance which could also be used as an evening fragrance. It has good but not outstanding longevity, I get about 8 hours.

Love this fragrance, but just wanna be honest here and say that this yummy stuff is, IMHO, really just Halston Z-14 out of jeans and dressed in a tux. The concentree is a little stronger and a little more complex, granted, but there ya have it.

Yes this fragrance does mean business. I forgotten how good this was till I pulled it out earlier and tried it again. I've missed it. Its up their with the likes of Boucheron Pour Homme in its thick, wafting character. This is not a 'second skin' type of fragrance, its an announcement to all you encounter, a statement if you will. If Dracula were around, he'd probably have this on his dresser somewhere. It is warm, heavy, reassuring and inviting, everything a good fragrance should be. It is not light, summery and playful. Wear this with a tux but not too a job interview.

Santos de Cartier Concentrée has been in my top three fragrances since I first encountered it four years ago. I remember my first thought when I smelled it: ‘I don’t believe it, no fragrance could be this good.’ Well, Santos Concentrée, unlike many things in life, has continued to live up to its primal message: It has delivered, without weakening, those phenomenal accords week after week and year after year. Each time I spray it on, I’m enchanted. Green, potent, woody, rich, complex, spicy, smooth, mossy, amber—and it fits my body chemistry perfectly…I’m gushing, but I don’t know any other way to talk about it.

Santos Concentrée(1982) is one of the most masculine scents you can find. This is similar to Eau Des Iles and actually holds its own against the niche one IMO. It really packs a punch and you will be noticed when you wear this! It may not be wearable for many occasions, but it really shines in a formal situation where you need to cut an impression of strict seriousness and a no-nonsense demeanor over a negotiation table. Otherwise, wear it in the evenings in dark attire to the clubs to portray a serious, sophisticated man who doesn't give a damn. Don't smile and act flippant when wearing this, it will get you the girls who like a serious, contemplative man. I guess i'm one of those types that's why i have so many in that vein, Santos Concentree, DK Fuel, Armani Night, Caron 3rd Man, Vendetta etc...
